Plea to declare Taj a Shiva temple admitted

Six lawyers in Agra had moved the Civil Court with the prayer to declare the 17th century Mughal monument a Hindu temple.


The district court in Agra on Thursday admitted a petition which says the Taj Mahal is a Shiva temple. The petition, filed by six Agra lawyers, also wants permission for Hindus to perform puja there.

Interestingly, a similar petition filed by Harishankar Jain and his friends was dismissed by the same court last month on technical grounds. It had sought permission to file a case on the ownership of the Taj. But this time around, the court admitted the petition, issued notice to the Union Home Secretary, the Union Ministry of Culture and the Archaeological Survey of India, asking them to reply by May 6. The next hearing has been scheduled for May 13.

In their petition, Mr. Jain and five others made Lord Agreshwar Mahadev the main plaintiff to claim the ownership of the Taj Mahal.

Mr. Jain, who said the temple was used to be called Tejo Mahalaya, declared himself to be the “next friend” of the deity.

wo hundustan k he pass hy tou azad he samjhoo, waisay to be very honest taj mehal main mujhay tou aisi koi khaas baat nhi nazar aati, bakwas si building hy. iski importance sirf isi liyay hy k its a symbol of love of somebody for somebody just like valentines day or some muslim mughal architecture. rest it has got nothing, so you can burn it from my side or even worse convert it into a temple, cause both will deprive india of alot of money that stupid forieners pay to visit this stupid place and i will simply love to see it

mlechh jati musalman yeh sab dusprachar karte hai , hindu dharm sabhi insano ko ek barabar samajhta hai , hum insan ka khoon nahi bahate , hindu dharm time ke sath apne ko badalta rahta hai, jo galat log hote hai woh aisa karenge to uska natija bhugat lenge. hindu dharm blasphemy ke naam par insani khoon bahane ke khilaf hai . is samay mlechh dwara sari duniya me insano ko sar kaat kar , bomb se uda kar mar rahe hai ,yeh kam hindu dharm support nahi karta. hum sab ke liye sukh shanti chagte hai .
