Every new party has hiccups when starting to rule.Do not forget how the grandad of democracy in Pakistan, ZA bhutto treated J A Rahim and Meraj Muhammad Khan. The rest were treated like footmats and Big ego Bhutto used them for wiping his boots when entering their houses and enjoying midnight trysts. IK is not disrespectable to his cabinet and does not have an ego problem like the Ganjas and Benazir

Imran, is taking right steps in right direction, he has given time to ministers to perform, failing party lines caused his out-burst. Assad is a great asset for PTI, he should have been given portfolio of foreign or home ministry and finance should have been left for professionals at first place. Assid is trust worthy and a gentleman, should come back in cabinet and keep supporting his party for Pakistan.

You guys need to listen to what Asad Umer has to say, he has clearly said he's not interested in anything else because he feels he would not be able to contribute in any great manner somewhere else, because he was being offered a ministry in the reshuffle. People are going on as if he was begging to stay in the cabinet and he was booted out.

So all the non stop threads and posts about AU should be made this he should be made that, he should be given this and he should be given that. Need to stop. For the time being he has made up his mind he is not going to be part of the cabinet, he is still part of the senior leadership of PTI and still an MPA.

Suspect he voluntarily resigned due irreconcilable differences..

Hefiz Pasha is an advisor, not a minister.

I don't think we can call this voluntary. Coercion seems more obvious.
To this day we haven't heard anything objective reasons for why they removed him.

Pasha might be advisor for now, but he'll likely be a minister.

We can still support IK and the movement, but lets not kid ourselves, and call him out for his mistakes, of which this is a big one.

Strange !! earlier, everyone was criticising the economy of Pakistan for months on media (mainstream & social), they ve been lamenting n moaning about AU for his ecomomic policies n measures and IK for having such a team in which IK's star batsman performance was so low bla bla...
Big fan of AU n may be coz of my bias that he too is from IBA like myself but I feel that all these people are taking chaskay...
AU is honest, intelligent, spontaneous and has been dignified n decent after been asked to step down but let's not forget the IK has been equally dignified if not more by letting him make the announcement himself about his stepping down n his refusal to take another ministry... let's not forget that IK could have announced himself through different ways...and could not have given him the opportunity to keep some of his(AU) bharam...
And there is no comparison between what Imran has sacrificed firstly for his philanthropic work n later for the political awareness to the nation who have been involved in corruption n dishonesty of all sorts at every level since the creation in general...
At least AU get to see his family every evening... whereever you go in the world... Europe to Usa... Asia to Africa mostly people know IK... he abandoned everything n preferred to live in pk... AU got the seat not b/c he was an Ex CEO but b/c of IK...
There is no comparison at all......

We are not downplaying his talent, his efforts or his sincerity to the party or IK. All that we are saying is that perhaps he was not suitable for the finance ministry. He sincerely tried but could not achieve the expected results. The fact that he was offered a different ministry means that IK still has confidence in his competence, and I think he should accept this offer because he has too much talent to go waste.

My opinion is no one else could’ve performed better than him in the condition he got this govt.

He was playing a long term game, for the country. Can you name any other guy who can claim that after 5 years Pakistan will not need to take loan again.

Kaptaan made a mega blunder. This is a big loss for Pakistan.

Everyone is expressing there own opinion on this forum, obviously, AU knows best for himself, this is the love for the man where people wouldn't like to see him on the back seat. As I said, IK has taken right decision, no compromise on country's future. Being knowing IK, he will not take him back as finance minister under any circumstances.

Freedom from loans and debts is the manifesto of PTI, not that of an individual. However your point is valid, but only time will tell if this was the right decision.
