You are right but still don't understand why they are after our blood. They very well know that being a land locked country their very survival depends on us. They also should know that if Pakistan so decides, it can do a very serious damage to them; economic and military.

India has made them believe that they don't need Pakistan with Iran on their side. Afghanistan is just 30million people. If Pakistan wishes, Afghanistan will be destroyed in 20mins. But instead, it'd be better to split afghanistan into north and south. With the elite controlling the North (as previously was by Northern Alliance) and Taliban controlling the South. I think Khan would propose this to the US in his meeting next month! And US may accept it as the only possible peace deal! ? ?

During the taliban and northern alliance tussel pakistan backed taliban. These types of afghans are nore northern alliance type.

Secondly when US invaded afghanistan pakistan helped US. So even some taliban type have issues with pakistan.

Afghan Pashtuns have traditionally been very close to Pakistan.

But in last 15 years, there has been a systematic media led campaign by US and India to demonize Pakistan in front of Afghan youth.

This Afghan Youth (age under 20-25 years) were either not born or very young when US invaded Afghanistan in 2001.

What they all see in their daily news on TV or papers is that Pakistan is responsible for each and every act of violence in their country. Naturally they have now built a sense of hatred against Pakistan due to this propaganda.

The truth is, Pakistan is indirectly part of this Afghan war and involved in Afghanistan as much as like other players like India, Iran, Russia and of course USA.

Like other countries, Pakistan (Army, Intelligence) has been trying to safeguard its interests inside Afghanistan. But that does not mean that we as Pakistanis or our Army has any goal of destabilizing Afghanistan or wants to continue violence in their country.

Pakistan is the first country who is affected by any violence inside Afghanistan, Our war of terror was actually Afghan War which impacted us. We as a country should be and ARE the first one who wants to see a stable a prosperous Afghanistan so that there is no focus required on our western border.

But as i said, its the investment of 15 years which is paying off to India and USA.
Grown hatred among Youth would definitely be a surprise for Afghan veteran politicians and professionals who actually resided in Pakistan for 20-30 years during soviet war.

Even Ashraf Ghani, Hamid Karzai, They all used to live in Pakistan, enjoy every other facility available to normal pakistani citizen....

Its the Money, Power and Lust which has now more influence on Afghan leaders than the sovereignty of their country, and this is a the reason that they never stopped this paid media propaganda by India and USA against Pakistan.

The only Afghan group currently talking about country's sovereignty is Afghan Taliban.
Fortunately or unfortunately they are the ONLY ones.
