IMF program will stabilize Pakistan economically: spokesperson.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The International Monetary (IMF) spokesperson Gerry Rice briefed media persons online on the bailout package that has been granted to Pakistan and said the deal will stabilize the country economically.

Gerry Rice told that package of $6 billion has been finalized with Islamabad, and the staff-level negotiations were completed on May 12.

The IMF spokesperson maintained that the global money lender wants economic reforms in Pakistan, and the country will make progress after the bailout package.

Development in Pakistan’s infrastructure and social departments will be possible as pressure of debts will reduce, Gerry Rice concluded.

Destabilising pakistan is not in anyone's favour at all. Strong and stable pakistan will bring peace and harmony in the rest of the world as well. This was the ideology upon which it was founded by its founder.

International community must play its role in stabilising pakistan because if it plays a negative role then pakistan can disengage with international community for a time till it has stabilised itself on its own. Dear muhammadadeel sb, I believe in human nature as created by God. Human conscious is part of human beings including mine and yours. It is not possible for a person to hold any belief against one's own conscious though it is possible for a person to do things against one's conscious for various reasons whereby one justifies one's actions.

What is wrong with human world is that people rather remain ignorant than learn what is true or right. This is why we can try and educate each other so that we could make each other realise what we are doing wrong to each other for whatever reason we may have in our minds. By trying to help change each other's minds for the better we can bring people closer to each other.

In my post you have quoted, I am simply trying to make people realise what is at stake if people will try to push pakistan into a corner. It will only increase animosity and animosity always has negative consequences. Since pakistan is not a weak country it too could fight back if push comes to shove. This could cause problems for all those countries which are trying to cause problems for pakistan.

So it it is better for people to work out a way out of this situation together because that will bring people together. However bottom line is even if others do not help, pakistan can still make it but it is better if people stick together for making our human world a better place for everyone.

Dear reason, that is not fault of international community alone but mainly of people of pakistan who rather remain ignorant and stupid than learn sense to improve their own lot as a country.

Dear reason, due to their self imposed ignorance or evil genius masses and leaders have been fooling each other the best way they could but ultimately they have been fooling none other than themselves as a nation.

Our mullaans have forced half of our human population out of sight. This alone counts for huge economic loss say 50% or near about. Then rich and powerful have been trying to gain monopoly over things at the exclusion of the weak and poor which again causes huge economic losses.

How can people with such mindset, attitude and behaviour ever succeed in life no matter what?

To succeed in life people of pakistan must work together as a single community or a team for ensuring well being of each other.
