Friendship of Nawaz Sharif with Modi is well known to the world. Shortly after Modi's vitriolic outburst against us in Afghanistan, he was given a warm welcome in this country by none other than NS. He and his children supposedly have business ties with the Indians and have hired mostly Indians in their factories both here and abroad.
He was the one who accepted the responsibility of Mumbai attacks and could not bring up the name of Kalbhushan despite repeated questions about him. He also helped India by referring his case to ICJ to please our arch enemy.
It appears that the apple did not fall far from the tree. After being quiet for few days since the Pulwama attack, Maryam Medial cell and her Whatsapp group (likes of Asma & Maalick) has become quite active in parroting Indian narrative on mainstream and social media with multiple threads posted on this forum alone.
Like India, they are quite vociferous about the evils of these extremists outfits. The same outfits that they have used in the past to garner votes.
Although, these extremist outfits may not be of any benefit to this country under current global climate. However, this is not the time or place to raise this issue at this juncture as it gives credence to the Indian narrative and also paints it as a victim while Pakistan as an aggressor and sponsor of terrorism. In reality, It is Pakistan which has suffered the most from Indian terrorist activities in Baluchistan. They also tried their best to ignite a potential inferno of sectarian hatred.
Yes, we have to sort out religious fundamentalists (like PTI did with TLP) in this country but not at a time when we are under the microscope. We will appear weak and guilty if we try to do this catharsis at this time.
It would have been much better for Maryam Media Cell to use her resources to highlight the atrocities of India in Kashmir and it's clandestine terrorist activities in this country but of course that's too much to ask from a clan whose loyalites appear to lie with our enemy.
PS: Indian aggression is not because of the extremists within in this country but because they have never accepted Pakistan as an independent state. They will come up some other excuse even if we end up shutting down these religious outfits.
Weakness invites aggression and Nawaz/Zardari did not leave any stone unturned in bankrupting us.
