لاہور میں کالعدم تنظیم کے احتجاجی مظاہرے کے دوران 2 پولیس اہلکار شہید

لاہور میں کالعدم تنظیم کے احتجاجی مظاہرے کے دوران پولیس اور کارکنان کے درمیان تصادم کے نتیجے میں 2 پولیس اہلکار شہید ہوگئے ہیں۔

ایکسپریس نیوز کی رپورٹ کے مطابق لاہور کے علاقے ایم اے او کالج چوک میں کالعدم تنظیم کا احتجاجی دھرنا جاری تھا کہ اچانک پولیس اور مظاہرے کے درمیان جھڑ پ شروع ہوگئی، تصادم کے نتیجے میں بھگدڑ مچ گئی اور اسی دوران مظاہرین کی ایک گاڑی نے 2 پولیس اہلکاروں کو روند ڈالا، جبکہ مظاہرین کے پتھراؤ کے نتیجے میں ایس ایچ او سمیت 6 پولیس اہلکار زخمی بھی ہوئے۔

پولیس کے مطابق دونوں پولیس اہلکار لاہور کے تھانہ گوالمنڈی میں تعینات تھے، شہید ہونے والے اہلکاروں کی شناخت خالد اور ایوب کے ناموں سے ہوئی ہے۔

واضح رہے کہ کالعدم تنظیم تحریک لبیک پاکستان کے کارکنان سربراہ سعد رضوی کی رہائی کیلئے لاہور میں دھرنا دیئےہوئے تھے آج مظاہرین نے لاہور سے اسلام آباد کی طرف مارچ شروع کردیا ہے، راستے میں متعدد مقامات پر پولیس اور مظاہرین کے درمیان جھڑپوں کی بھی اطلاعات ہیں۔

وزیراعلی عثمان بزدار نے اس حوالے سے مذاکرات کیلئے ایک خصوصی کمیٹی تشکیل دیدی ہے جس میں صوبائی وزیر قانون راجا بشارت اور وزیر پراسیکیوشن چوہدری ظہیر الدین شامل ہیں۔

PTI workers wanted to join the Faizabad sit-in, says Imran Khan​

PTI chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday said his party workers were willing to join the Faizabad sit-in as "the matter had left the realm of politics".

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Khan said, "The government should know that whenever a question is raised on the finality of prophethood, there's always a reaction of great proportions because of the religious history attached with the matter."

"The whole nation should be grateful that the matter was wrapped up in two days, otherwise there would have been a catastrophe of great magnitude and these people [the government] would have hidden out of sight leaving the nation to bear the brunt of the disaster," Khan said.

"The government has no idea what would have happened if this matter had escalated; they should thank the army for stepping in and diffusing the situation," he added.
