This is bound to happen .... first of its mandatory for all US citizens to serve in the army for couple of years before join any technical or professional college with govt subsidies on education fees which are other wise very high and almost impossible for average american student to pay those fees... 2ndly for them joining army is not that of privilege morally socially or even religiously they way it is in our society. for them its just like any tough job on a ranch in an oil field or on a farm house.
but there is one more angle to it .. Out of 400 plus members of house of the Representative not a single member recruited his son or daughter for Afghanistan or Iraq war and this is highlighted in Micheal Moore's movie Fahrenheit 9/11... so there is not all that clean about american politicians also.
