It was 2007 when i first met Maulana Tariq Jameel sb and since then it became a very close relation. He was my mentor in almost every difficult situation.
Maulana always advised us to never be a party to any political force, remain neutral and carry on the work of Dawah, having respect and love for everyone. And then came December 2018, when for the first time Maulana sb himself recorded a video, in which he openly praised Prime Minister Imran Khan and offered his full support to Mr. Khan.
Just as others thought, this was really surprising for me as well, so i decided to listen to Maulvi sb point of view that why he did this. Fortunately just after 3 days of the VIdeo Release, he came to Dubai and he called me to meet him. So he briefed about his intention that why he supported and released a video:
Q- Maulana Why You support Imran Khan?
A- He is the first man in the history of Pakistan, who have raised the slogan of an Islamic Welfare State like ''Medina'', nobody ever did this, so that's why he won my heart.
Q- Our Previous Head of state's specially Mian Nawaz Sharif, were among your admirer's and also listen to your sermon's, but you never released a video for anyone of them?
A- I have met all of them, but none of them shown so much passion and care for our Pakistan. Whenever they called me, everything else was discussed. Imran Khan sb was the first person, who discussed only and only ''Pakistan'' with me. during every minute of our meeting. I have seen a passion, a junoon, a pure intention in his heart for our Country.
As you said i use to meet every Ruler, never ever i requested for their phone number and never did anyone gave me.
Imran Khan himself gave me his personal number and told me, Maulana sb whenever you see I am doing wrong or you want to give an advice on any matter, you can literally call me anytime, I will listen to you, take advice and will Insha Allah act upon.We want to make this state, a state like Medina under your guidance.
Q- Maulana, some people are saying that you gave this statement in support of Imran Khan sb, under some pressure and someone asked you to do so?
A- This was purely my own statement and i really feel, this man will do something for Pakistan, as his intention is pure.
Q- People are opposing you severely for this statement, what do you want to say to them?
A- They are also my brothers. I pray for them. In a healthy society, everyone has a right to have his or her own opinion and i respect that.
