Ok so pti lost. Maybe for all the reasons -wrong candidate ,wrong strategy. Does this mean people use their vote in misplaced spirit. Pak is placed precariously in the world politics and geological changes. Its just one crisis away from a meltdown. IMF loans cannot bail out population of 20 crore. I say get real. Stop digging your own grave.

Wow you are comparing Dr Yasmeen and her experience in politics with the kid like Ali Tareen.You need to gather some more information about Dr yasmeen and her roots with the public in her area. It is not just matter of father and son but having said this Imran is always against dynasty politics that is another long story.

Coming back to Ali Taren.He is an oxford graduate who lives in the uk. The matter of the fact is that he did not even want to contest in this election but Imran khan pushed him to contest and now we know the result. How can you expect from someone to win a contest who does not even want to compete. Ali tareen is highly inexperience and immature for this kind of contest while on the other hand pmlns had a mature and experience candidate who knows the local area very well and has strong roots in the area.
Imran khan and pti need to learn from this defeat and learn quicly other wise pmln would clean sweep in the punjab in coming elections. He needs to be very careful while distributng the tickets and he should not ignore the active local pti memebers who have strong roots in the local area while giving tickets.

you made some valid points which i agree with however the first sentence you mentioned Dr yasmin, just would like to clarify i was not comparing tareen jnr too Dr yasmin but tareen jnr too kalsoom nawaz. If Kalsoom can win without going too her constituency without much ground performance and in time of election was in uk, also NS becoming Nehal with all these factors why could not tareen jnr win?

Is the issue really solely to with the fact he was jhangeer tareen son. Jhangeer Tareen had his roots in that constituency and with PTI brand it should have been enough. In fact PTI managed too gain 60000 odd votes which was similar to last election result I think, but it was PML N who somehow managed too gain 90,000 plus votes.

To be honest there is a lack of startigical issues related too PTI which should have been adressed after the defeat in 2013 elections, however I think ultimately the people who vote themselves are too blame.

2013 main hum log UAE se Dera Ghazi Khan gae only PTI ko vote dene kly aur Zartaj Gul ne 43,000 Vote lye. Jis ko DGK main us waqt koi janta bhi nahin tha. Ab usi seat p Sardar Saif Udin Khosa (Electable) PTI ka candidate hae. I do not think keh us ko 30,000 vote bhi milen ge.
