Why no ads on Geo??

Salam..just wanted to share a thing I noticed when I was watching geo (very little) that there are no ads in there programme anymore .All I watched was "Dr" Amir Ramadan shared hai mera Ramadan shareef hai. Is Geo not getting any ads now? Kya mai it a bura hoo Maa ..lolsss

i dont know about this ramzan but last Ramadan ARY was on top by a distance. this year i havent been watching much tv. however few days ago nadeem malik shared some trp ratings for news channels and Samma was first, geo news second and ary news a close third.

so it seems ary has already started paying the price of losing lucman and doing pti bashing.

no doubt dharana has damaged geo beyond repair. i think it will take at least 5 years for geo to get back to its pre-dharna level where it was number 1 by a mile. an alternative for mir shakil is to close geo news and start a new channel with new name/branding.

Thanks for letting us know..was just wandering..but all the other channels play ads even on their on line channels... may be differnt policy by geo...they used to play ads before i remember very fondly...
