Forget May 12 mayhem

KARACHI, March 5: SCBA president Aitzaz Ahsan on Wednesday advised lawyers to forget the bloody incident of May 12 in which dozens of people were killed on the occasion of a visit to Karachi by deposed chief justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.

Mr Ahsan, who arrived in the city on Tuesday for the first time since May 12, said this while addressing members of the Sindh High Court Bar Association.

Mr Ahsan said the city needed peace and prosperity and must not suffer tragic incidents like that.

I have forgotten the May 12 mayhem and would like to request that it is better for all of us to forget that tragic incident, he said.

The May 12 riots were erupted when Mr Ahsan, the deposed chief justice and other leaders of lawyers were barred by the provincial administration from coming out of the airport to attend a gathering of lawyers on the high court premises. The SCBA chief urged the leadership of the city and elders of all the ethics groups to make Karachi a peaceful city, free of ethnic violence.Reporter

Sind High Court is doing inquiry.
And everyone is free to take part in that inquiry.

Altaf wrote a letter CJ on different issue.

Don't you think it is better to call from mobile phone to say that, which was written on the visiting card.

But, here the circumstances is different.
The person who you're referring, will not give the card with hand written on it in asking for bribe or extortion.
Especially a known personality. All will be done on cell phone with the Sim which is not register with any name.

As it is claimed, Dr Farooq Sattar name printed on the card, but, also hand written note of Dr Farooq Sattar was presented to TCS all in all. Above all that, On the evening of April 4, Leghari received a telephone call from a man claiming to be an MNA by the name of Haider Rizvi, who had a message to convey from Farooq Sattar. It is confusing, when Dr Farooq Sattar sent his card, with hand written note on it, then why MNA HYDER ABBAS RIZVI phoned him. If Ardeshir Cowasjee wrote because Dr Farooq Sattar mobile's balance was finished, that's why he told MNA HYDER ABBAS RIZVI to phone. Even then it is considerable to you people. Thanks God, TCS guys are alive, otherwise, all the blame goes to MQM.

Also, it is mentioned, he was the relative of PM Jamali. But, despite then, blame goes to MQM. Also claimed, that the record of the case destroyed. Why only one case was destroyed? MQM has about 25,000 thousand cases from 19th June, 1992.

Lastly, I want to say Ardeshir Cowasjee should have named this story " IT IS CLAIMED".
