There was a village in the jungles of Amazon, or somewhere else , the villagers were uneducated, there was no communication to the modern world, not a single person of that village went to school college or university, and living as in the stone age, but everyone of that village posed himself or herself as a most intelligent and knowledgeable person, this village had a small water well, all villagers use the water from this only well for the purpose of drinking and use for other utilizations, one day a dog fall down in the well and died, next morning some villagers came to the well and drink the water, during the period they were drinking, one of them who did not drank the water saw that dead dog, he starts screaming and all the village gathered around the well and started the debate, one of the most intellectual person suggested to remove some buckets of water in order to clean the well.
Everybody agreed and they take out ten or twenty buckets of water, and look like that the issues had resolve, but because other so called intellectuals were present, and felt down because the suggestion did not come from them but other person and was accepted by all villagers and the problem was solved and the credit was gone to that person , those so called intellectuals started another debate just to creat another issues(Fitna), that the persons who already drank ,the water was not cleaned and will bring some disease and will then all villagers will die etc etc therefore must be Killed, they debate weeks and weeks , but no one talk about the dead dog.
On October 5, 2007 when Pres. Musharraf signed and implemented national Reconciliation ordinance in Pakistan using the constitutional Powers under clause 1 article 89 in order to bring democracy, what was a long due demand and in pressure by media, political parties and USA, in his view as the president, This was the only easy choice for him to comply without visible opposition as it is now.
The circumstance under this ordinance was issued on October 5, 2007, political disturbance and longtime demand of restoring the democracy in Pakistan before upcoming elections. The demand include to be permitted all politicians back to Pakistan to participate in elections, living in exile as a result of secretly negotiations or agreements,
The cases against Pakistan peoples party leadership were in the courts for last eight years during the tenure of Pres. Musharraf and even before that at the time of Mian nawaz Shareef, the courts did not or could not made final decisions and\or conclude the longtime waiting cases, As normally Courts take course and delay the justice. Everybody knows that justice delayed justice denied.
The apparent reason could be to keep Mr. Zardari and other leaders behind the bars. Those courts these cases were dealing included the previous and present judges and Chief Justice of Supreme Court.
At that time this ordinance was made and implemented there was no other choice or for at least then Pres. Musharraf who chose this ordinance in order, to healed elections and restore democracy participated by leadership in exile who otherwise if came to Pakistan could face the same courts where they could not get justice for last eight years.
In my view the president and the politicians had no other easy and quick way out but to accept the NRO and go ahead with the process of democracy what was demanded and created struggle by media and almost all political parties, I remember that these media anchors and spoke person of Political parties were screaming for democracy And go Musharraf go who are screaming and debating continuously without any end result to corner and to force to resign Pres. Zardari as in the past.
If this NRO was so much against the Law and dangerous for the country then one could ask that why at that time there was no strong opposition by these media and political parties and why this black ordinance was let implemented, because it was suited for every one to create political disturbances and derail Pakistan economical condition and foreign investments and the Musharraf way of handling the war. What at the time some said that Musharraf not seriously delivering and cheating USA. whatsoever was the facts but removing him from the seat brought destabilizing to Pakistan and thanks to this Media instead of Pakistan going forward we went back and facing the challenges of electric and even food shortages, remember one of the biggest cause of shortage of food in breaking of Soviet Union.
The legal aspect of NRO is that it was made and implemented by then Pres. Musharraf. I heard no one blame the person who use or abuse the powers, but debating to kill the beneficiaries, what kind of justice is that, in the history of justice the person who gave amnesties legally or illegally could be accused, but not the beneficiaries, because the NRO is not the only one in Pakistan but there was lots of SRO issued by then PM and only to gain financial benefits. The intentions of those Acts were contradicted to the constitution of Pakistan and therefore could be declared Illegal.
In my view this debate is to just to create political disturbance in Pakistan what Pakistan can not afford under the circumstances if we deeply analyze and think what worlds powers are the real beneficiary and or behind this issue, or to cover up the other important issues such as American aid Bill and the matter of Black water in Pakistan and operation in South and North Waziristan. Beside this debate will only benefit a new ruler not the public of Pakistan, it is not addressing any public issues such as peace, high prices, availability of electric, gas, sugar, healthcare, security of national strategic assets, and many other issues what have to be addressed immediately.
We must think even as a result this President may remove from the office will benefit to Pakistan or the enemy of Pakistan, If befit goes to Pakistan then we must support this situation, otherwise we should prove as a intelligent Nation and do not support this Fitna and progress and resolve with Issues directly related with public of Pakistan so that peoples of Pakistan may live with peace, availability of food items in Markets, come over of shortages of electric, so that our factories could work and poor peoples may provide bread and butter to the families , and Pakistan may go ahead on the way of economic stability.
At present the real Issues are jobs, electric, gas, Law and order, food, foreign interference , safety of strategic assets, poverty, stable business environments , not NRO a tool used by the world powers by its agents to destabilize Pakistan as it was in Past to dismantle the previous governments. We should leave NRO behind us and go ahead and deal with current Issues, beside whoever benefited under the Law are long grab the money and gone like the snake is gone and we are beating the line.
If media and political parties create half of the pressure on Government to solve the real issues, what benefit to the public of Pakistan, we would be living in much batter and peaceful Pakistan.
