Which laptop should I buy? Please advice !

Sony......
HP......I have got HP DV 6000 and I have been using it for the last 5 years, I never had any problem with it, I did not even changed its window yet although it has got its recovery settings in D Drive........
I bought Sony Vaio but laid in my cupboard and I m still using HP coz I am happy with its performance.......

It depends on a few things. 1) Budgetary constraints 2) Efficiency vs style 3) Any particular things you necessarily want (weight, screen size). This can help you narrow down your choices. I have used several brands over the last 10 years or so. Dell, HP, Lenovo, Sony VAIO. The best one I found was SONY. The Lenovo I had, though pretty good, was more like a box and did not score high in aesthetics. The worst experience was with HP. After a year and a half, a part of the screen got detached and there were problems with excessive heating and keyboard. Never used Apple but have heard good reviews from friends.
