Government has all the right to remove the army generals. Army generals should not be given choice to go against their bosses.
If army general will refuse Gillani then they can also refuse Imran Khan or any future prime ministers.
Don't forget that Musharraf launch a Kargil operation without telling NS and later on thousands of young soldiers loss their lives.
Political parties can do politics on issues but they should not give army general chance to disobey politicians decisions.

Iyes NS back then had a mendate, he had the right pwoer to do so.
This gov doesn't and they shouldn't do so.
I think zardari went to dubai to cook this up with americans, we don't even know if it is true, but theyy gonna use the excuse that haqanni wasn't proved guilty he still resigned,they are trying to turn the table back on them.

Fisrt of all no thousands of soldiers died in kargil ... (Im not saying that even if one died its fine but we should not exasperate the facts & figures )
2ndly if the leadership is selling the country in the sense of compromising on sovereignty (something like shamsi base) or any breach in term of nuclear assets ... what you think army command suppose to be doing ??? and general cannot refuse a govt behind whom public support is there and the govt who is doing well economically and socially can we say both these things for current govt...? every single institution gone to dooogs ... what one suppose to do wait till they finish their tenuity or save the country ...
I will not mind, this is Civilian Govt right to fire , hire some one. The problem in Pakistan is, tht civil and Milatry Establishement can not be fired , if they donot perform good. That is why wht ever they do, they are above the law. This Establishment always think they can not be mistaken.
What this establishment did , to help poor people. Why poor people shoud care, if they are fired.? Civilian and Miltary is public servant, but they behave like Masters.

I have all my cousin working in army from soldier to higher rank. Thousand of soldiers died but officially on paper numbers are in few hundreds. This is because Pakistan army refused to accept that people on mountains are our soldiers. So many Pakistani dead bodies are still in India because our army is still saying that they are Mujahideen but not regular army.
I want PPP government finish ASAP but don't want army to get involved in this all mess. Zardari government is a very corrupt government and they will never win election but if generals did anything then they will become Siasi Shaheed and will come back in power corridors as a victim of establishment.
Kick Zardari tola out but with your vote and protect your army from all these political rubbish. Also, our army is not an angle. Army rule more than any other political party so they are also to be blamed for the disastrous situation of Pakistan. Generals should not jump in political matters.
