What you will be asked

There were many posts after NA55 election suggesting that PTI has lost the election and they should give up now. You know, that is a loser's attitude (although I know that suggestion was coming from the PTI haters). A wise person would not give up but be persistent and determined, keep up with the struggle and leave the results on Allah. IK is a man who has demonstrated persistence and strong will. He has proved over and over again that once he has a resolve, he does not stop nor gives up. That is how the behavior of a good muslim should be. That's a great leadership attribute. Allah likes those efforts and actions we do consistently.

Keep in mind that on the day of judgement, Allah will not ask us what we accomplished in this world. The criteria would be, what efforts or struggle we did for a given cause and with what intentions. We will be judged based on that criteria by the Supreme Justice of the universe Allah SWT. On that day each of us will be only concerned about himself and not even about those we loved so much. My own aamal would be more than enough to be concerned about.

So do the right thing with the intention to please Allah and not the people around you.

Rabbana aatena fiddunniya hasanatanwafil aakhirate hasanatanwaqena azaabannar. Ameen.
