In Case of Attack on Siasat.pk...?

Kindly shed some light on various ideas on what measures to be taken when site is under attack or is taken offline?

We, as a responsible community, can avert disaster by taking precautionary measures to avoid total blackout.


Suggestion

1. Make a few Phantom servers scattered around the world and in case of attack, then temporarily divert all traffic to phantom servers.
2. Put siasat.pk's data backup count after every 12 hours

If admins need help, I'm willing to do so :)

they r backing up after 24hrs, but loss of posts shows 24 hrs means 24 days .. but its usual in pakistani siasat hrs r counted in days and days r in years

Siasat.pk must seek the advice of Software expert to safeguard the site:Siasat.PK.

Jab say pakistan main porn site block ho gaye hain. Farigh larkon nay siasat.pk join karli hai aur ab is ko hack bhi kar rahay hain.

this site is awsum....dont blame admin or ne other person pentagon ki website hack hojati hai yeh siasat.pk kia cheez hai jitni marzi security karlain website hack ho he jati hai not a big deal but backup hona chahiyee n kisi user ny diffrent servers ka suggestion dia tha i appreciate that admin should consider it

I think it is a credit to siasat.pk, that someone feels threatened enough to want to bring it down. :P But request from me as well, please do try to prevent such attacks. I don't believe these guys would be such experts at such stuff (or I may be wrong)...

admin need funds to hire professionals for protecting this site.. managing more then one server is very expensive... getting security for this site by offering a handsom amount to hacking groups will be very suitable.. and for this reason admin should introduce paid membership with exclusive rights on this forum will be wonderful idea..

Yes, that is the only way out we see. All your suggestions are excellent but we need more funds for this. We will try membership and mobile apps to increase revenue, that might give us enough money to afford several servers.
