What is wrong with Siasat.pk...A lot of Data missing :(

Siasat.pk was on the verge of being the most famous siasi website in pakistan and was started to be used as a reference on talk shows. But your lack of professionalism is destroying everything

Cant you guys hire few professional? or atleast ask on the forum, many ppl will help u. You have to stop this on urgent basis or else ull loose all the members.

Siasat.pk team should hire strong technical people who have good knowledge about handling technical issues related to forum administration and maintenance.

I don't know what is your turn-over or profit from this website.

But you should at least spend 10% of profit on site maintenance , With current poor management this website will lose its audience at a very fast pace.

Invest some money in resolving server hosting , resources ( database , security ) issues .

You guys definitely need a very agile technical resource who can take care of site tech issues.

Even today , site is running in "stone ages" as far as layout , design , skin , thread options , widgets , additional hecks are concerned.

I know it won't sound good. but its a sincere advise , for every long term business you need to invest money properly , to fuel it , to make it running.....

So siasat.pk needs a proper overhauling . Hire some good tech resources , give them a time frame of 2-3 months ( you can also get someone freelance ) and update whole website from every aspect , run performance testing at the end and you will see it impact.

We will be having Elections in Pakistan after 6-8 months. So this is the time , NOW , to do these updates , trust me this election would like a "Christmas season" for you guys so start preparing for it from now onwards.

Were are sites hosted ? I suggest a host in Germany who most of big companies use and one of best and safest horst. Cost 125 kr pr month will get name l8r since a friend of mine works with it systems and he told me.

I am not sure about the lost of data but I was unable to access siasat.pk from last many days.

@admin siasat.pk team already have our email addresses. They should have create a newsletter to let every user know about whats happening with the site and how long it will take to resolve. Otherwise, they will be loosing their users.

Easy with rants guys. Owners of this site probably get tons of offers to sell it. Lucky theyr keeping it here for us the way it is.
