What happened to the Dengue Epidemic in Peshawar

Just one week ago, our whole media went nuts on Dengue outbreak in Peshawar. People were cursing KPK govt and Imran Khan for this neglect and were shown a horrible face of KPK Health Ministry.

There were videos shared of guys asking Shabaz Sharif for help and Punjab govt also took part in this by sending a mobile testing facility which was placed outside a JUI-F minister. Federal and other PMLN ministers were making so much noise that Thousands of people are affected. As per that by now hundreds would have dies.


But suddenly we don't hear any thing about it in the news. Did everyone die or did they control an epidemic affecting thousands in just 3 days??? is it even possible to control a widespread epidemic in just 3 days? Or was it never an epidemic of what we heard on the TV channels?

You are absolutely right. In this age even a single death due to dengue is condemnable. But I am sure that if this happened in any other large city of Pakistan, the number of deaths would be much larger.
