Religion is a very destructive power which should never be the base for Politics and state.
Rest I do not agree with Iqbal on several issues. His own son says that "Subha ka iqbal aur hai aur shaam ka aur".

Iran has never followed Hazrat Umar, Mr Zaid, they are shia and dont prefer hazrat Umar. We are not azzholes. Chakkar na do baba g.

If Hazrat Umar's system was so perfect why immediately after him, hazrat Usman and Hazrat Ali got killed? And that PERFECT SYSTEM was broken into one Monarchy running by Amir Moaaviya and one Khilafat running by hazrta Ali.

Even if we take the hypothesis that like hazrat Umar chose 5 men for Khalifa-to-be, we should do that system now. How would you find a person like Umar NOW who has same level of wisdom and sincerity. Keep in view the fact that not all Sahaba liked Hazrat Umar's committee.

Without democracy, Mr Ziad, how would you elect a Khalifa? Who will decide? YOU? Mulla Umar? Osama bin Ladan? Saudi Shah? Nawaz Shareef? Zardari? Kindly elaborate who will choose Khalifa, what would be the process?

How would you ensure that Khilaafat would result in social justice and it wont become a toy in the hands of Royalty like it was in the 19th century in Turkey and through out the history of Islam.

If Khilafat is THE BEST system (we dont even know if its a system or what) why after the death of Prophet SAW, within 50 years, there was NO Khilafat? Why did it end after hazrat Ali when we had many BEST MEN of all times (Sahaba) still alive, at that time? If they could not run Khilafat how can a person after 1500 years is expected to run it?

Cant you find any basis to gain power other then Religion?

This women is CRAP, i know has as i study in same universty that she teaches, she is west paid agent that is upto develop thought among students that pakistan is secular country and islam has nothing to do with politics, she once denied a girl wearing hijab to enter a debate within universty, and she is also upto propoganda about Allama iqbal, i have heard student that she said Iqbal has nothing to do with reality, and iqbal was emotional poet, Zaid hamid did well to hammer her on on knees. She was trying to potrey that an islamic ideology based country like iran had no women rights, thanks Alllah zaid hamid replied her about 76 % work force that comprises of women in iran, i myself have been to iran and people are really happy with their President, their ideology is based on islam, women are not forced to wear jijab but i have seen many places women urge pakistani women to wear chaddar properly. Islam is not to impose its about getting ones thought upto a standard that she or he will feel easy and proud to be muslim.

As far as women rights and minorities Islam is only religion that has given women rights more then any religion in this world, before islam babygirl were being mudered and burried alive, Islam is the religion that honoured women with relations like Mother, Sister, wife, daughters. Prophet Mohammad PBUH used to stand in respect and honour of beloved daughter Bibi Fatima A.s. And about minorities again islam has given them full rights within an islamic state, they should be thankfull to Pakistan as their worship places pre partition are still managed well by our representatives, They are allowed to worship freely. In pakistan Muslim is being killed on daily basis, its very rear that a minority person is killed, these so called scholors can see a minority incident happening but they cant see muslims being killed on regular basis, dron attack kills inocent women, childrens, oldman but who cares about them, only this they care about is highlight a women being punished by talibans. What about hundreds of those who are dying on daily basis ?

To we cant catgorize women right seperatly, it is an issue of Law And Order, make law and order strict we shell seee positive change, no men or women would be abused or murdered.
