Brother, I guess you are getting carried away. Where did zina get into this discussion. The main post went so far as to mentioning holding hands and then @moazzamniaz responsded with his post without even remotely mentioning zina and then I responded (in an attempt to be humorous) to one of the points he made (also made in a lighter vein which was pretty obvious by his use of a smiley) without any reference to zina.

Either you are reading too much into it and putting words into people's minds or I am still completely lost.

By the way I don't give a hoot about Valentine's day and I wouldn't want to speak for brother Moazzam but from his post I can tell that he wouldn't care much about it either. His post had a deeper message which obviously went over the head of folks and they are out with all guns, swords and knives blazing.

Also, you do know that Valentine's day (no matter how crazy that idea is) has nothing to do with zina - this is just some deprived person's imagination running wild ;-)

I apologise if i did not understand u or anyone but neither i m a scholar nor i have a habbit to talk without knowledge but one thing i understand and would like to mention not just to u but to everyone is that Deen is above any mockery or any dis respect. Just for example If a Hadith mentions that seeing unlawful thing is zina of eyes then we r not supposed to criticise the Hadith by putting mullahs in front or any other member. The guy u mentioned in ur post is a kind of fond of such habit thats is y i try to avoid him. But if something is written in Hadith and one starts making fun of it then it is my duty to clear the misconception if i know. I m going to delete my post which i quoted u earlier. I have respect for every member here as i consider them as family. One should not cross limits on any topic...

I was trying to make you understand that there was nothing that was said about the hadees. I respect the hadees as much as you do. The point being the use of the lame story to go along with the hadees. And, the argument that taking a western custom - I see most of the western customs these days as nothing but marketing gimmick by the corporate world and make them out to be battle between evil and good. People make it a battle between religions instead of seeing it for what it is. The religious types in the christian world or the fundamentalists abhors the commercialization behind their customs and you see bumper stickers saying that 'put christ back in christmas.'

Again, no one criticized the Hadees! We criticize the insecurity thats felt by us. This is in no way endorsing the custom of valentine's day. Yet if someone sends their wives a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates then we should not condemn him to hell :-)

brother honestly tell me who celebrates valentines day with wife? My wife told me about coming valentine day i told her no need for that:P Jokes apart like i said in my previous post most people criticise our religion, our culture by putting mullahs, sometimes taliban in front but if u look deep, u would understand what is their agenda. I would end this debate with a Hadith the nearest wording of which is "aik sahabi ne Rasool pbuh se zina ki ijazat chahi. Rasool pbuh ne bari bari maa behen aur dosree rishtaydar ke bare mai kaha ke kiya tum chahte ho ke tumhare rishtaydaron ke sath koe aisa kare jis ki tum khwahish kar rahe ho to sahabi ne har aik ke bare mai inkaar kiya" wallahu alim. No offence to anyone but holding hand of na mehrum is haram no matter how modern the society becomes. Like i said few members here mock Islamic culture and Sunnat like for example i still remember one member's remarks in which member termed all darhee waalay as junglee etc... Now i leave it upto u to decide that was he/she mocking the men or beard... I pray Allah paak to increase our knowledge nd strengthen our Eemaan. Aameen :jazak:

It is funny to read that some individuals with twisted minds and flawed logic find the path to progress and industrialization in promoting adultery and fornication.

Obviously such lunacy cannot be allowed to flourish in the society and it is vital to stop such heretic customs from destroying the character and eman of the shabab of Ummah.

Bhai ye kissa mai ne suna hai kaafi arsaa pehle iska valentine day se koe taaluk nahi lekin msg kaafi clear hai khaas tor se un logon ke liye jo parayee aurton ko valentine day ke naam per flirt karte hain aur khud bhol jaate hain ke unke ghar bhi aurtain hoti hain chahe kisi rishte mai hon. Aap ne aag se ghar jalane aur khana pakaane ki baat ki hai to mere bhai aag aag hoti hai jis ka kaam hai jalana aur khaana pakaate hue bhi ahtiat na ho to wahi khana pakaana ghar jalane ka sabab bhi ban jaata hai. Aur mere bhai us banday ki pakeezgee ka aur is se bara kiya saboot hoga ke us ne ghalat kaam kiya aur Allah paak ne usay usee waqt uska nateeja dekha diyaa warna hum khud ko dekh len kitne ghalat kaam karte hain hamain to sharam tak nahi aaati. Sorry to say bro but this is one bitter truth tabhi to hamare hukumran is tarah hain

پتہ بھی ھے کہ ویلنٹائن ڈے ھے کیا؟ محبت کا اظہار یا زنا کا ھتیار؟ ابھی ھل ھل کر لفظ رٹنے کی پریکٹس جاری رکھو کافی سڈول پاو گے خود کو۔​

جسے زنا کرنا ھو اسے کسی خاص دن کی ضرورت نہیں ھوتی اور یہ ' ویلنٹائن ڈے' ھے نائٹ نہیں:lol:۔ دن میں گھر پہ ھی رھنا فحاشی نہیں پھیلے گی۔​

ہیر رانجھا کی داستان اور اسکے لکھنے والے وارث شاہ پر فخر کرنے والی پنجابی سوسائٹی کا ہیرو اب 'کیدو' ہے ۔ اسی لئے تو سب ویلنٹائن پر سب ملا کے ساتھ مل کرگالیاں دے رہے ہیں ۔ آج ہیر زندہ ہوتی تو سپاہ صحابہ والے جھنگ کے نواح میں اسکے گاؤں پہنچ کر رانجھے سمیت دونوں کو جنت کی راہ دکھلا چکے ہوتے ۔
آج ویلنٹائن عید ہے۔ چاکلیٹ کھائیے اور خوش رہیں ۔​

ویسے سوچنے کی بات ہے کہ ایک تو ہمارے مولوی حضرت اتنے خوش شکل ہوتے ہیں کہ ویلنٹائن ڈے پر کیا عام دنوں میں کوئی خاتوں انہیں منہ نہیں لگاتی .​
