Dear Forum Members,
In this video, I'm sharing the advantages that I personally enjoyed while studying at the prestigious TU Bergakademie Freiberg located in the small and peaceful town of Freiberg. What do you think if this only applies to Germany or are their any other countries in your opinion where studying in a small town might be beneficial ? Please share your experiences! I'd love to know.

Germany is now third in the list of host countries and is the most popular non-English speaking host country for international students. The special thing about Germany is that students are coming from many different countries. Most international students are from China, followed by Russia, then Austria, Bulgaria, Poland, Turkey, the Ukraine, India, France and Cameroon in close succession. The student population, thus, is very diverse.

Is Freiberg not in East Germany? It is not so friendly in there. I won't recommend going there.

Yes, if it is for one year and studies then perhaps fine.
If it is for long term and family is involved then east is not recommended

Germans suffering from Xenophobia. They extremely hate foreigners, especially English speaking, in their country. Germany is not a good place for foreigners.

I'd avoid generalizing. There are always good and bad people in every society. Regarding English, every society wants and expects expats to speak their native language.
