Its a good article overall, but I like to point out something (not trying to find faults). Towards the end of second paragraph he seems to be saying that women are not allowed to go out and play a role in the society, and that there needs to be ijtehad for this to happen. And he is protesting over lack of action over this with the Ulema.

I am just puzzled regarding this point since right from Ayesha Radiullaho Anha, there have been women actively involved in different roles in our society and in Pakistan there have been and are women in position of power making great contributions (Alhamdo Lillah). Not really sure why he is seeking ijtehad and also protesting over this.

Just a sincere observation.
