ISI was brokering a deal with TNSM and Swat Taliban elements to get a ceasefire and peace deal but our dearest ANP (mainly influenced by American consulate in Peshawar, and protecting the small Feudal ANP minority) made sure it never went through....

Now Swat is a mess, a low level insurgency will plague this area for years. As American move out the NA led Afghan govt will increase funding to these groups. The way out is pretty obvious but requires someone with balls.
