Based on this doc the total cost to build this project is US $512m. which is close to Rs 72billion. Which is total of Rs37K per person in Peshawar of 1.9Million people.
Now PTI is in power why they are not using the old train track in Peshawar to use for local Public transportation?

It is important to see comparison as well. Big difference compared to other two projects in Lahore and Rawalpindi.

Just look at the huge buildings at 00: 15 , 03:53 and 08:53 . These buildings will have park & ride plazas as well as 1200 shops.Now look at 02:17, 04: 51, 05: 15,05: 29 . These are some of the points where feeder route buses will join main route of BRT Peshawar,feeder route of Peshawar BRT is 80 km long.Every bus station will have cycle track and whole route will have a cycle track either elevated or at ground. B

Cost of this project is Rs 66 billion. You are calculating as per today's dollar rate yet 75% to 80% of the project is already completed or contracts already awarded at a dollar rate much less than now

Cost of Rawalpindi Metro was Rs 44 billion and Asad Umer used to say its very expenssive so why Peshawar project is costing us Rs 66Billions? Keep in mind the population of Rawalpindi/Islamabad is way more than Peshawar?
Also not sure how much will be operational cost of Peshawar project and from where this cost will be coming?

Are you saying these Parking plazas are included in construction cost? ADB documents not taking about any parking plazas or might be missing something?

A year and a half ago when PTI's Khattak had "Launched" this project by importing a bus which is now rusting in scrapyard... I had predicted this project wont be made even by december 2018. How wrong I was! My new estimate is March 2020....one year and three more months from now. By the way.....I saw workers working on Islamabad metro bus working 24Hours a day....even at 2am they would be working on it and surely they met the deadline and constructed it ON TIME....Do not expect any infrastructure projects during the tenure of PTI government. Doosron ko kuch bananey nahi dena.....khud kuch banana nahi.....ye ullu k pathey 5 million homes banaengey (3000 homes a day)....inki abhi task force ki meetingay nahi khatam hoti

It is not paid by the government but a self-sustaining project. It won't need any subsidies
