Everywhere in the world a Supreme Court can overturn a High court decision. It is a normal practice. In the USA where in some states capital punishment is still practiced there are many examples where a Supreme Court has overturned a high court decision.

In those cases new evidence can compel change of verdict here there is no new evidence.

The Supreme Court has already made the decision . I don't think it is legal to not to tell the plaintiff and the defendant about the decision for long. It would clearly show that the judges are scared of their lives after the above threats if they don't disclose the decision they have made. .

New evidence can be admitted in appeals court. But old evidence is not revisited. Generally, appeals court only looks at procedural issues to make sure all procedures were followed according to the letter of the law.

What ever the decision SC gives no body chalange this according to the Constitution of Pakistan...Only if SC himself formed the larger bench on the verdict..then it's can overturn.. otherwise no one overturn this... However..I suggest the SC to reserve the decision for a long time until we get rid off Shiatan Mullahism from Pakistan.. like we did with Molvi Diesel..

You are right.. unfortunately..our society became spritually.. morally corrupt... our corrupt Politicians...one Gen..Zia..Mullahs are responsible for this...If Asia will released..her life will more hell than now...It's better to reserve the verdict for suitable time...

آپ کی بات اپنی جگہ بالکل بھی درست ہے پر بینچ میں جسٹس آصف کھوسہ بھی بیٹھا ہے مجھے نہیں لگتا وہ کسی بھی بات کو سوچے گا ایک مظلوم کو انصاف دیتے ہوئے۔ جیسے اس نے کچھ نہیں سوچا ممتاز قادی کو پھانسی کی سزا دیتے ہوئے۔ آسمان گرتا ہے تو گرے زمین پھٹتی ہے تو پھٹے۔ اس کو بھی پتہ ہے اس نے ہمیشہ جج نہیں رہنا ۔ وہ اپنی جان پر کھیل چکا ہے پہلے ہی اب کیوں پیچھے ہٹے گا۔ ؟؟ باقی بات آپ کی صیح ہے نواز شریف وغیرہ تو ویسے بھی سپریم کورٹ سے اپنا حساب برابر کرنا چاہتے ہیں۔​
