I completely agree. Once you have a militray dictator in power then who is going to get us rid of him. I also completely understand the frustration that we Pakistanis have regarding the corrupt political system and politicians. But what I dont unerstand is that why we should support or even think of dictators to rule us. With all due respect to all Pakistanis that believe that army can be one of the solutions to our roblems I would like to point out that dont we know the role played by this army in our miseries. It is because of three martial laws that no democratic institution has developed in Pakistan. Even when the military is not directly in power it is still in power indirectly through its agencies and its politcal cells.

When we say that we are better ruled by the army, in essnce, we agree that as a nation we do not deserve voice and basic human rights.

Nobody can represent the people than the people themselves. We have to get organized and get off our behinds to make these politicians accountable. We did it once in the case of the supreme court judges, we can do it again.

One who is theif won't be able to lock the other theif, Alchoholic can't lock another alchoholic. Murderer can't lock another Murderer.

I am sure this comment came out of lack of knowledge of constitution of Pakistan. Judiciary has its role, same as parliament has its own role to play. CJ ka baap bhi kisi minister ko sack naheen kar sakta. He, or judiciary can rule against any person, be a cabinet member or not, only and only if there is a case against him and law requires them to rule against them. No body from Judiciary, or no body in the whole damn country has any legal right to sack cabinet except Prime Minister himself.

This is even more confused and illogical. General will remove current rulers and select (appoint?) other politicians to run the country? Under which article of constitution? and what does General know about politics or politicians or government or any thing other then running a damn army? Secondly if democracy has already failed, why you need other politicans to run this country? and what are the evidences that suggests that democracy has failed and generals have succeeded? What are the "achievements" of generals in our history that suggests that they can do any thing better then politicians?
