Yeah that can happen but first you need to fix corruption issues in India which are plaguing the whole country. Plus for NAMO it wont be easy making changes that others have had a tough time doing so far.

PLus NAMO hasnt really come to make India a power but his agenda is more to cause trouble in the neighbourhood which is why he is caught doing "puja paat's' with Rifles infront of him [hilar][hilar]

If he intends to do all that then rather of investment coming in the capital will be flying out at an alarming rate

Indian GDP will come on track with energy reforms and investment would pour in. FII have poured money and there is liquidity for every company. Then Tata and Mahindra would be able to sustain the industry in long run. Moreover many western companies manufacture car in India!

so Modi era will be good for India! By the time the luxury market slows down Indian economy would push up and help the local companies

yeah but korean and japanese countries dont claim to have produced the "cheapest car" to get their names in history books only to be "amended out".

I mean what kind of example are we setting by misleading people in India ?:)

All I'm saying is produce a decent car and say its made in India ...why do you have to "frugalize" and present yourself as a cheaper option ?

The Mughals always marketed India as a High Value destination ...so please stop giving all of us a Bad name !

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Corruption is part and parcel of the society until accountability is introduced at all levels.. NAMO have done some big changes in capital which others never dreamt of doing it. He has shaken the system and wants to run it like a CEO!

Hindus worship everything. So no harm in worshiping rifles. You have not tried to understand us.
Investment to India will come at alarming rate.

Indian engineering graduates' degrees to be recognised across 17 countries

NEW DELHI: Engineering graduates from India will find it easier to take advantage of international prospects as their degrees will now be recognised across 17 major countries including the United States, Japan and Australia. On Friday, India became a permanent member of the Washington Accord, an international agreement for accrediting undergraduate engineering degree programmes.

International mobility of engineering graduates from Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) has not been an issue given the global recognition of these institutes, but this has not been the case with the graduates from the 1,300-odd other engineering colleges in the country.

With India becoming a permanent member of the Washington Accord, Indian engineering graduates will be considered to have met the academic requirements necessary to take up the practice of engineering in any of the signatory countries.
The Washington Accord aims to promote mobility and quality assurance across countries. Besides recognition for Indian engineering degrees, membership of the international accreditation agreement will ensure a minimum global quality for all engineering institutions in the country.

Congratulating the officials of the human resource development ministry and the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), human resource development minister Smriti Irani said, "This will ensure highest quality assurance standards to be implemented in our technical and engineering programmes and provide global mobility to our engineering graduates. Graduates having degrees, which have been so accredited, would have substantial international equivalence of their achievement levels across the signatory nations. This will substantially enhance their employment opportunities around the world."

The decision to give India permanent membership, seven years after it acquired provisional membership, was taken at the meeting of the International Engineering Alliance in Wellington, New Zealand, on Friday. The membership is effective immediately.

This brings to a close India's 15-year quest for permanent membership. In 2000, the All India Council for Technical Education (the NBA was part of the council) initiated efforts for membership of the Washington Accord but no real progress was made.

Another attempt was made in 2003, even though India's proposal was considered fit for appraisal in June 2003, delays by the government in pursuing the case meant that India missed out being considered at the 2005 meeting of the Washington Accord members.
Despite efforts in fits and starts, India's serious quest for membership began with a push from former HRD minister Kapil Sibal through moves including granting of autonomous status to the NBA. The Washington Accord requires countries to have a mandatory national accreditation system. In September 2013, the IITs agreed to be brought under the NBA's accreditation umbrella, a move that helped India's case enormously.

ONLY 250 ?? for a country with a 1 Billion plus population ?? ...The US has 4600 colleges and universities of higher education with a 400 million population .

Japan has about 2000 and so does Europe and China [hilar][hilar]

PLus those 250 are not producing many engineers as about 86 % of the graduates are not Employable. This comes from there own research

83% of Indian engineering graduates unfit for employment: Survey findings!

[hilar][hilar] ..The last bastion for what ?? ..YOUR STUPIDITY ?? [hilar] ...What does degree recognition have to do with quality of education in India ??

You have your schools producing educated idiots and your happy over some agreement to get this rubbish recognised in other countries ??

The fate will be the same - the moment those people realise that the education is not up to par they will ditch indian engineers !

So the solution is not getting "fake recognition" but improving the QUALITY of education

Remember 83% of graduates are "Unemployable" [hilar][hilar]

We wont allow you to screw up India like this !

Jealous nahin hotay chandbibi [hilar] ...Tum to aesa naraz horahi ho jesay saray engineers menay HIRE kernay hai :lol: ...Dont you think that your own Industry knows about this accreditation ??

Ofcourse they do BUT even then if you dont improve the "actual" level of education getting such "accreditations" is not going to do anything !

You think the guys at the "All India Council for technical education " are idiots ?? ...You dont need some foreign organization telling you that your engineers are good but rather you need the engineers going out and doing work which speaks louder than any words and is an accolade to the scientific community

So quit this jealousy and work with me to make India a better country for education by reducing the number of educated idiots [hilar][hilar][hilar]
