In my point of view we should welcome all Nationalist forces in Pakistan with a big heart who speak for Pakistan without any prejudice. This only ensures that our political landscape is becoming more competitive and provide the electorate or the public with more choice.

During Jalsa, one could hear Azaan from mosques but Tahir ul Qadri did not stop his speech for a minute. As a so called Shaikh ul Islam he must have though about it.

There is no muk mukka between the PPP and the PML N.In fact both these parties have been fierce opponents to each other and there is long history of political rivalry between them.The PML N has been criticizing the PPP government policies inside and outside the parliament and likewise the PPP has also been criticizing the PML N government policies in Punjab.This time both the main parties have agreed to consolidate the democratic system by allowing their respective governments to complete their constitutional tenure after which the people would be given a chance to elect a new government in a general elections.TUQ should welcome this development instead of calling it a muk mukka.His demand for the constitution of an interim government of his choice ,the delay in elections and the threat of a long march is undemocratic and unconstitutional.It is the right of the reprentatives in parliament to decide about the composition of the interim govt and in fact they have already decided it.Sitting outside the country for many years and representing no one TUQ has no right to make such unconstitutional demands in a threatening tone and play with the destiny of the country.

You are right bro. PML-N is saving democracy and destroying the country. On the other hand, TUQ is destroying the system and "saving the country". PML-N is playing noora kushti with PPP, and TUQ is playing noora kushti with PML-N, and status quo. TUQ is saving the country after these family parties have sent this country to stone age. Why TUQ waited for so long, or why he cannot wait until after elections. He was imported to make sure either the elections are postponed or cancelled, so that this status quo mafia keep serving the interests of their masters, and keep multiplying their wealth.

Crowd seems to be the largest so far even beat the IK jalsa may be 3, 4 times. Amazing how ONE person can attract 2 million Pakistanis with calls to save our motherland. We are not dead yet

To your point ....we are looking for khair for Pakistan and so far this event has shown that. Their is reason to be optimistic and support such efforts :)

I think people should have a big heart in accepting someone who is talking about Pakistani nationalism. I absolutely saw nothing wrong in his speech. There is an establishment phobia with this nation, any new movement is termed as military driven. The same happened when PTI came to the fore. However, the same question which arose then and is relevant now; can the establishment bring so many crowds to the rally?

I have not even seen this level of opposition towards Taliban as much as we are seeing towards Sheikh Ul Islam.


Patriotic forces like PTI and PAT need to work together. Most of this opposition appears to be sectarian driven by people who wanted to desecrate the grave of Quaid E Azam!

Only one thing is very clear people want change. The Pakistani people are so much disparate for change that they can even follow a Canadian National.PPP and PML must see and note this paradigm shift in the people's mind. Nothing can stop this.
