The recent changes are fine and I’ve liked it no doubt. But my concern is with the section of Blogs that why it’s not appearing in the Main page along with the menu tabs as well? Is the section of Blogs is currently disabled for members? Do you guys intend to enable it in near future or not?

Why do you think, we should bring blogs back on?

In my experience, they weren't as effective

When ever i visit sisat.pk home page i look for first thread in the middle column and check if it is a new one or the one i have previously checked . if i found that it is new one i scroll down to check how many new threads have been added if not new then i did not scroll down.

now top three threads are not being changed so it confused me a bit and i missed new threads :(

On Main Page, Picture Fetching (Thumbnails) for Thread is taking too long. I guess its due to change in code or web link down. Sometimes it hangs too. (Checked on 4mb connection).

Perhaps the new loading functionality eats more bandwidth. I noticed slowness while the thumbnails are being loaded. Furthermore the scrolling up/down the main page is jittery/slow...seems overall the page is heavy on graphic processor.
Moreover I noticed that the thumbnails get reloaded when you switch back to (or maximize again) the tab/browser of siasat.pk main page. I guess the redraw of the page reloads all the thumbnails again which is not necessary.

I can understand that what you’re trying to imply. It may concerned with the low quality of content that appeared in Blogs section for some time and I think in order to tackle this issue you Mods should become increasingly involved in the regulation and screening of blog entries of the members before allowing them to be posted here on siasat.pk.

You can further allow selective members to become eligible to post their Blog entries (the ones who have good writing skills supplemented by the effective structuring of sentences with minimal errors) on this site.

I do also believe that writing a blog is something which reflects the originality and creative frame of mind of an individual to present his coherent views on almost any issue of life in a nonchalant manner. Just like the columns in a newspaper add to their beauty Blogs can perform the same function on the online discussion forums.

I hope you’ll consider and think about this suggestion of mine.
