So far, media for the first time has played a very positive role in exposing the powerful elites with such ferocity and unanimity. The question is, will this focus last or will fizzle out with the passage of time???

Also, is this being done for the ratings, to boost their own stocks by blackmailing Sharifs for bigger and fatter Lifafas or for the genuine love and concern of the country? Don't forget all the brouhaha during Kerry Louger bill debate with a rather sudden quieting of the criticism thought to be due to a signal from GHQ.

Also, in recent programs Pervez Rashid is noted to openly patronize prominent anchors. He even visited the house of Rauf Klasra by his own admission. There is a strong possibility that like all the status quo parties, media will also unite in criticizing IK which is already beginning to happen.

Lastly, it is just a matter time when our patriotic generals will be roped-in in this mess. Will the behavior of our media change when it comes to the corruption of holy cows (this probably will be the dream come true for NS & Co)???

Wah bae wah PTI kay nooray bhi apni marzi say media ko negative positive role denay lag gae hain...kal ko imran khan ko media kuch bolay ga tu media negative ho jaye ga....

sohniyoo media dorain hilanay waloon ki doar pay chalta hai....negative positive role pay nahi

زرداری کے جانے پر وہی کہانی دہرائی جاے گی جو داغی کے لیے لکھی گئی تھی ..
ایک اور پلاننگ چل رہی ہو گی اور شاہ محمود کا خطاب ایک کڑی تھا ..

Just look at the gifts awarded to Absar, Sethi, Maalick, Qasmi, etc for their invaluable services!!!

Under such circumstances, one should not be faulted for being so critical of the role played by the media...

media will ask for higher price now. because this issue is indefensible. However, any channel that wants to protect its ratings will still remain anti govt. No pro govt channel can succeed in long term.

Media can only do so much and for so long, they can only run a story for a limited amount of time, remember these are not charitable organizations but for profit businesses. They have done their job so far to expose the nooras, the rest is up to people of the nation to come out and bring this corruption riddled people down, but unfortunately our people have show less than 0 initiative over this matter.

1000s show up in support for the dead MC criminal Qadri but not a single soul came out to raise his voice on this issue. Media will cover this story as long as its profitable for them, thats it, to expect anything else or more from them is unrealistic, the media cannot bring down these people just on its own. I say it has done its part ( the non lifafa media that is ) but the rest is up to the people
