Snipers deployed, roads closed after terrorism threats on Karachi Central Jail

KARACHI: Security measures in surroundings and connected areas of Karachis Central Jail has been tightened by security forces on Saturday.

Security forces including Police, Rangers and subordinate departments immediately increased security level after being warned through intelligence reports for expected large-scale terrorists attack on Central Jail of Karachi, sources said.

Police sources said that numbers security personnels are raised in the jails check posts while pickets also increased to counter any attack. Roads has been closed for traffic and snipers also been deployed on high building situated around the Central Jail.

Police officials have also closed the bridge connecting the Central Jails main road with PIB Colony and Kashmir Road. Security sources also confirmed that officials wearing normal clothes also been deployed on different sensitive spots while special monitoring has been commenced in surrounding of the jail using CCTV cameras.

کراچی: ضلعی انتظامیہ نے عید کے رنگ میں بھنگ ڈالتے ہوئے سکیورٹی خدشات کی وجہ سے شہر کئی بڑے پارکس 3 دن کے لیے بند کر دیئے ہیں۔

ایکسپریس نیوز کے مطابق کراچی کے خوشگوار موسم میں عید کا مزہ دوبالا کرنے کے لئے شہریوں کی بڑی تعداد نے مختلف بڑے پارکس کا رخ کیا جہاں انہیں ضلعی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے گیٹس پر سیکورٹی خدشات کی وجہ سے پارکوں کی بندش کے بینرز لگے دکھائی دیئے جس کی وجہ سے انہیں شدید مایوسی کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔ ضلعی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے بند کیے جانے والے پارکس میں باغ ابن قاسم، کلفٹن فن لینڈ اور بیچ ویو پارک شامل ہیں۔


ڈائریکٹر پارکس کراچی عبدالرشید کا پارکوں کی بندش پر کہنا ہے کہ سیکورٹی اداروں نے محکمے کو اس حوالے سے مکمل طور پر لاعلم رکھا اور انہیں کسی بھی قسم کی پیشگی اطلاع فراہم نہیں کی گئی۔

I once read a book long ago.it described various aspects of azaab on a nation due to its sins and leaving islam...one major azaab is azaab of "FEAR"..i.e generalized fear in society.do you see it now?but will people return to islam? as far as my experience goes this nation has reached stage of incurable disease of heart .nifaaq.so Allah khair karay unn logon ki jo ab bhi musalmaan hain .amen.this whole world is going into turmoil actually.....keep invading your own country,like swat khaibar agency mohmand agency waziristana nd now chilas.this war will never end.ultimately it may divide Pakistan like Afghanistan .in Afghanistan by now 50 percent of afghan army troops (mostly Pashtuns) have deserted and joined Taliban...here in Pakistan such news are censored....but I keep hearing from different channels such news from here also

the day you people supported your army,s support of war against islam under American banner,that day you people sealed your fate.now be brave and face whats coming.not pretty I tell you...(in Iraq and afghan war the American and nato planes flying from Pakistani airbases killed thousands of muslims.according to very reliable sources.that came even in mainstream media.......will Allah not take hisaab of this?the present azaab of fear is just the beginning.Allah musalmaanon ki khair karay!)
