Shiv Sena to keep an eye on Valentines Day celebrations

Shiv Sena on Wednesday warned that the party will be keeping an eye on the Valentines Day celebrations. The Sena will intervene only if the lines of decency are crossed.
Party secretary, Vinayak Raut, clarified that the party has not deviated from its earlier stand. We will not allow such days to harm Indian culture. If anyone wants to celebrate, they should keep that in mind and see that their programmes dont highlight vulgarity, said Raut.

In a strange way i partly agree with the shiv sena who are against the westernasation of India at the expense of their own culture. However, i disagree with their method that is to intimidate those who disagree when success in such matters can only be acheived through dialogue.

They should reach out to the Indian youth expressing their concern over the rapid westernisation of an ancient culture.
