Shahzeb Khan Murder Case : (Please post all updates in this thread)

Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Tuesday took suo motu notice of news pertaining to Shahzeb Khan’s murder and ordered for a report to be presented in court.

Summoning the Advocate General Sindh and the provincial police chief on January 4, he directed them to bring reports on the case and the investigation.

The heinous incident that sparked anger and worry among a large number of students, civil society and political leaders of the country. Protests and rallies are being held countrywide to urge the authorities to take action against the culprits involved in the incident.

It has been a week since 20-year-old Shahzeb Khan was gunned down, yet the police have failed to make any significant progress due to immense political pressure. Shahzeb was killed allegedly by Shahrukh Jatoi near Mubarak Masjid in DHA on December 25.

The killing resulted from a small argument he had with Nawab Siraj Talpur, when the latter’s servant verbally harassed his sister. Talpur and his friend, Jatoi, allegedly followed Shahzeb, even after the issue was settled, and shot him dead.

The two main suspects reportedly escaped to rural Sindh after the murder. A three-member investigation committee was formed by the Sindh Police but so far, the committee has not made any arrests. The investigation teams that were sent to rural Sindh also came back without any breakthrough.

Kia qismat hai hum pakistaniyon ki..Jo kaam Government k karne ka hota hai wo CJ ko karna parhta hai, Phir Bilawal jaisay chokray kehtay hain k CJ Govt. Chala raha hai. :banghead::banghead::banghead:.

and BTW jitna late ker diya hai iss Govt. nai abhi tak to suspects country sai bhag ga'ay hoongay, Yahan kabhi kissi ko insaaf nahi mil sakta untill PTI comes into power.

These murderers should be hanged in front of public and also should be televised live in all over Pakistan.
After this no one should be allowed to keep guards and weapons.

مگر یہ چیف جسٹس ایک سیاسی چیف جسٹس ہے۔ پورے ایک ہفتے تک یہ شاہزیب کے معاملے پر احتجاج ہوتا رہا، مگر چیف جسٹس آنکھیں بند کر کے بیٹھا رہا۔ مگر جب ایک دفعہ یہ میڈیا میں اٹھ گیا، تو پھر کہیں جا کر چیف جسٹس کو ہوش آیا۔

کیا ایسے ہوتے ہیں چیف جسٹس حضرات؟ نالائق اور نااہل قسم کے۔

Ye kaam hakoomat ka hota he aise waqiaat ko rokna aur uske baad agar aisa waqea ho bhee jaye to uss per police case hona aur pesh raft hona..agar kuch aisa na ho to suo moto hota hai...

Killers Of Shahzaib Should Be Arrested Without Delay: Altaf Hussain

The Founder and Leader of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) Mr Altaf Hussain has urged on the federal and provincial governments to arrest the killers of Shahzaib without further delay. He said it is unfortunate that the killers of Shahzaib have not been arrested so far only because they belonged to influential feudal families. He said that these corrupt and callous feudal lords kill innocent people and later impute to be the outcome of personal feuds.
Mr Hussain said that there is a state of restiveness in the citizens, particularly the younger generation, because of the fact that no action was taken against the killers. He said that the time is not far when the younger generation would come out against the cruelties of the feudal lords and pull down their palatial abodes.
He said that the government must bring the killers to justice even if they belonged to highly influential families. He expressed sympathies to the bereaved family of Shahzaib and prayed Allah to shower His blessings on his soul.

Probably because he was not killed by MQM this time?

What about dozens killed by MQM goons on daily basis?

اگر یہ سوچ تھی تو یہ آپ کی اور چیف جسٹس کی دماغ کی انتہائی خرابی ہے جو یہ الزام لگاتے نہیں تھکتے کہ متحدہ کے پاس کراچی میں پولیس کا چارج ہے۔

متحدہ کی حالت یہ ہے کہ ایک ٹلے کا بھی ٹرانسفر نہیں کر سکتے۔

اور آپ لوگوں کی دماغ کی خرابی ہے جو آپ کو یہ نظر نہیں آتا کہ آپکا چہیتا ذوالفقار مرزا اس کراچی پولیس میں کئی ہزار جرائم پیشہ افراد کو بھرتی کروا کر گیا ہے، اور تین لاکھ کلاشنکوفیں تقسیم کر کے گیا ہے۔

یہ وجہ ہے کہ جب متحدہ کے پاس وزارت داخلہ تھی تو کراچی میں ٹارگٹ کلنگ کا دور دور تک کہیں نام و نشان تک نہ تھا، مگر آج آپکے چہیتے ذوالفقار مرزا کی کارستانیاں جب رنگ دکھا رہی ہیں تو آپ گونگے بہرے اور اندھے بنے بیٹھے ہیں اور منہ سے صرف "ہائے متحدہ" ہی نکلتا ہے۔ شرم کریں اپنی ان منافقتوں پر۔

آپ کے مراسلوں میں سوائے اس رونے کے اور کچھ نہیں ہوتا کہ متحدہ حکومت کا حصہ ہے۔

مگر اس جملے کے کوئی معنی نہیں ہیں کیونکہ متحدہ کے ہاتھ میں کوئی حکومتی پاور موجود نہیں ہے کہ وہ پولیس کو کنٹرول کر سکے۔

پر افسوس کہ آپ لوگوں کا نا ختم ہونے والا جھوٹا پروپیگنڈہ۔

بزرگ کہہ گئے ہیں کہ کچھ لوگ کبھی خوش نہیں ہوتے، اور حقیقت یہ ہے کہ آپ جیسے لوگوں کو کبھی خوش نہیں کیا جا سکتا۔


کیا اتنی جلدی بھول گئے کہ جب ہم حکومت سے علیحدہ ہوئے تھے تو 4 دن تک کراچی میں پہاڑی علاقوں میں کھلے عام بنے مورچوں سے گولیوں کی بارش ہو رہی تھی ۔۔۔۔

اور ان 4 دن میں کوئی پولیس بچانے آئی اور نہ کوئی رینجرز۔۔۔۔۔ عمران خان آیا اور نہ نواز شریف ۔۔۔۔۔ میڈیا آیا اور نہ ہی افتخار چوہدری کی عدلیہ۔


اور آپ لوگوں کی حالت کیا تھی؟

آپ تو اُس وقت بھی خوش نہیں ہوئے تھے۔

آپ تو وہ ہیں جو اس وقت بھی کراچی میں ان برستی گولیوں کا ذمہ دار الٹا متحدہ کو ہی تہرا رہے تھے۔

آپ تو وہ ہیں جن کے منہ میں ایسی منافقتیں بھری ہوئی ہیں کہ آج تک کراچی کی پہاڑیوں پر ان کھلے عام بنے مورچوں اور ان پر لگی بھاری اسلحے پر ایک لفظ احتجاج کا نہیں نکلتا۔

حقائق یہ ہیں کہ متحدہ کے پاس تو اختیارات کے نام پر ذرہ برابر چیز بھی نہیں۔۔۔۔۔ مگر آپ کا چہیتا افتخار چوہدری آپکی درجن بھر لعنتوں کا مستحق ہے کہ سارے اختیارات ہوتے ہوئے بھی آج تک کراچی پولیس سے یہ 40 فیصد سیاسی بھرتیاں دور کروا سکا اور نہ کوئی اور ڈھنگ کا کام کروا سکا۔
