MQM agrees to constitute committee to allay misconceptions with PML-N
LAHORE (Online) - Hoping for a clean and neat victory for his partys candidate in the presidential election, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif Tuesday left without responding to the question about coalition with Muttahida Qaumi Movement.
The newsmen have been asking questions from the CM after he had cast vote for the presidential election in provincial assembly of Punjab.
After replying to a number of questions, he clearly avoided answering a query regarding Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz and MQM coalition.
Pakistan Peoples Party has made a mistake by boycotting the election as it is in jurisdiction of the supreme court to reschedule presidential election, Shahaz commented on decision of PPP with hopes of a victory for his party candidate.
Meanwhile, Coordination committee of MQM while welcoming the statement of Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervez Rashid agreed to constitute the committee for elimination of misconceptions.
As per details it was agreed upon proposal in the meeting of coordination committee MQM to constitute a committee comprising 3 persons each from both parties to allay misperceptions and to resolve all issues through reconciliation.
Coordination committee directed to all MNAs and senators of MQM to poll their vote in the favor of Pakistan Muslim Leagues (PML-N candidate Mamnoon Hussain.
On the other side PML-N had taken the notice of statement given by Rana Sanaullah.
Minster for Information Pervez Rashid said that statement of Rana Sanaullah regarding MQM was reflection of his own thinking and the party had no connection with that.
Rana Sanaullah had said in his statement that PML-N had not forged any coalition with MQM only sought votes in the support of its candidate.
