This is very commin in Pakistan and people like to do this type of marriage if they can afford and some people like to spend more than that and hire professional people for dance and song, all this said, you should say good about the video and their work. if you dont lke it, just ignore it

After watching this nice video and well organised wedding.
I go through my relatives life (mine too), the one and only big function was wedding.
All relatives come to celebrate wedding the same day (or they come on your funeral but not on the same day).
Whatever mullahs say pakistani cultural dances are not going anywhere.
Just yesterday i was watching old youtube video Saudi king dancing with Bush, they do dance in KSA.
Pakistan win in some game people express their joy with dancing. What is wrong in dancing?

Bhai sahab if fools try to jump in well u should not follow them simple is that. U cant escape by saying that flaan was dancing thats why i danced or flaan was taking bribe so did i etc... If they were dancing or whatever they will be accountable for that but if u follow them u will too be accountable for ur own deeds. I hope u got my point.

Brother if u see something wrong at least u have the right and duty to point out this is wrong rest depend on others if they want to correct themselves or not at least u have to do ur duty. Most of us from my point of view assume the way of marriage is not right. I have said earlier that if someone is doing wrong u should not follow him because he is accountable for his own and u will be accountable for ur own deeds. And from my point of view, if u have the power and chance to commit a sin and u refrain from it just because of fear of Allah (SWT), Whatever Allah (SWT) will grant u Allah (SWT) knows best.:jazak:

If one is muslim he has to follow the Quran and Sunnah u cant say if someone wants to enjoy his or her life let them do it. Folks, this one may be in UK but trust me most of our weddings - be in Pakistan or abroad have all this as integral part, particurly the Mehndi function is the one on which all this is an accepted norm. Sadly, the Nikah is now rarely performed on the wedding day to 'save' time. Nikah ceremony is now generally in a small room with a few essential adult people. So, another downside is that our next genration doesn't even witness the Nikah!

May Allah give us the wisdom and strength to follow the Islamic way of life. Amin.
