In kabadi match he has to mention Tajarat and business. All their focus is 'Ghee di chooree'. Have they ever had any concern apart from sirri pa-ay Lahore daa qeema. They think the world circulates just around 'khana peena'.

These Nawaz and Shabaz Sharif's think as Punjabis not Pakistanis. They are just like those tribal's who love Afghanistan where nothing can grow or exist more then Pakistan. All these people should be thrown out of Pakistan back to the land of their so-called ancestors.

LUDHIANA: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that if Pakistan and India work together, their progress would astonish the western countries.

He said that both the countries should bid farewell to tension and start an era of peace and friendship.

The Punjab chief minister said that people of both sides should bury the past and demolish all the walls that hinder progress.

“Demolish all the walls which hinder the prosperity and progress of both the states,” Shahbaz said.

He said Punjab on both sides should learn from the countries of the European Union which had buried the past and have now joined hands to usher progress in their respective countries despite the fact that there was not much in common among them.

Shahbaz, who is currently on an India visit, said that on the contrary Punjabis had almost everything in common. “We share a common heritage having a natural bonding in terms of language, culture and cuisine. Moreover, we are permanent neighbours and thus it is all the more important to generate bonhomie amongst the people of both the countries through people-to-people contact to further consolidate the confidence building exercise between both the nations,” he stressed.

“So the need of the hour is to identify the area of friendliness and peace to herald a new era of unprecedented development across the border,” he said.

“In the past, we have moved slowly towards this goal but it is time to run so that an atmosphere of warmth and affection in the region could be created,” he added.

The chief ministers of both the Indian and Pakistani Punjab are set to sign an agreement to identify mutual areas of interest and cooperation on Sunday.

A high-level committee of officers and vice chancellors of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Ludhiana and Faisalabad, besides the Guru Angad Dev Veterinary Sciences University, has been constituted by both the chief ministers to finalise the terms and conditions of the agreement.

Shahbaz mooted the proposal of a protocol agreement during deliberations held at the PAU here to which Indian Punjab CM Parkash Singh Badal responded positively.

Both the governments agreed to encourage people-to-people contact as part of this protocol exercise besides cooperating with each other in agriculture, animal husbandry, agro processing and industrial and trade ventures.

The Pakistan Punjab chief minister also appreciated the unique initiative taken by Indian Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, who led a delegation recently to Pakistan to strengthen bilateral ties between East and West Punjab and batted for more such visits.

Lauding the state Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal for providing free power to the farmers, Shahbaz said that he was unable to implement the same decision in his own Punjab.

Shahbaz Sharif also lauded the SAD-BJP government for governance reforms like the Right to Service Act and computerisation of land records.

Badal said that these visits should not be mere formalities but they should be result-oriented so as to benefit the entire region.

Batting strongly for relaxing the visa regime between both the countries, he said that it would help in the free movement of the people from both sides of the border and strengthen the brotherhood between both the countries.

86-year-old Badal expressed the hope that the visit by Shahbaz Sharif would go a long way not only in improving the relations between both the countries but would also the immensely beneficial for the Punjabis across the border.

The chief minister said that frequent visits of official delegations, along with that of the farmers, artists and other eminent personalities from all walks of life, could play a pivotal role in it.

He said that efforts must be made by both the state governments of East and West Punjab to impress upon their respective national governments to make stupendous efforts for removing all the barriers that hinder the development of friendship between both the nations.

LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that if Pakistan and India march forward jointly and peacefully, their development can surprise the West, adding wars give nothing except miseries.
Addressing various functions in Indian Punjab, he said it was high time for Pakistan and India to end confrontation and start the journey of peace, friendship and mutual cooperation for the sake of the people.
Speaking at a reception hosted by Indian Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Badal Singh Parkash, Shahbaz Sharif said if the European countries could come closer to each other despite hatred and enmities of centuries, why Pakistan and India could not do so for the betterment and welfare of the people.
He said division of India was the decision of history and no one could remove the borderlines between both the countries. He said the people and governments of both the countries could certainly demolish those walls which were hampering development, prosperity and security of the region. He vowed: “We can definitely remove such walls jointly as are creating hurdles in cooperation in research, technology and journey of peace and security,” he asserted.
Speaking to a big gathering on the occasion of the final of Kabaddy match between India and Pakistan in Ludhiana, Shahbaz said victory of either country in this match was the victory of both the neighbours as they wanted to forget bitterness of the 66 years. He said: “Now we have to promote love, trade and business between the two countries for prosperity and progress of the peoples on both sides of the border.
He urged the Indian Punjab CM to let Lahore host the next World Kabaddy event or the two sides should share the matches. He also invited the people of the Indian Punjab to visit Lahore where he would entertain them with Puri, chanay, bhaji, pathoorey, halwa and ghee ki choori.
He said both Punjabs should join hands to combat poverty and unemployment by benefiting from the experiences of each other. He vowed to make the two Punjabs the most peaceful part in the region with joint efforts where love and affection would foster. The CM concluded his address with lines from Amrita Singh’s poetry, “Ajj Akhan Waris Shah nu kitay qabran wichon bol.”
Meanwhile, speaking at Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana, Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said Pakistan could greatly benefit from the development of Indian Punjab in agriculture sector. He said “If we manage to take important decisions towards security, peace and progress, our future generations will pray for us, but if we miss the opportunity, it will be hard to make up for the loss”.
Shahbaz expressed the hope that India and Pakistan would succeed in taking important decisions with regard to mutual trade in the next few days and a meeting of commerce secretaries of both the countries was also going to be held soon.
Meanwhile, extraordinary protocol has been given to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif during his visit to India. Wherever Shahbaz Sharif went, besides beautifully decorating the routes of the cities, illumination had also been arranged during night. After arrival in Indian Punjab, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal accompanied Shahbaz Sharif to all functions. Diplomatic circles were of the view that the protocol being given to Shahbaz Sharif was normally given to the heads of other countries in India.

Well - with due respect, this is never going to happen, hindu is not a nation u can trust, and time has proved this again and again, if it were possible, it would have been done before partition.... strong hands need to take the hindus to task, and ourselves we are still in confusions. Pakistanis mingling with indians in countries abroad like its nothing..... lost the identity man

so listening to shareef brothers /imran khans recent talks i think that two nation theory is being killed in pakistan.slowly but very steadily.this is what happens when you make secular islam illiterate people your leader...they have forgotten the millions of muslims dead at hands of hindus sikhs in 1947 and want us to again taste the fruit of that killings and rapes...its our nations own fault that they dont give ledership to islamic minded people
