6th of September is now approaching ! It is defense of Pakistan day when a battle from the battles of Ghazwa e Hind was fought by tigers of Rasul Allah (sm) against Hindu Mushriks !

This Australian News paper gives a vivid account of the humiliation of the Mushriks during that war. Read it well as it smashes the Hindu myths about that war.

Today, we need the same spirit, same Jazba, same leadership ! InshAllah Khair is coming for this Pak Sarzameen. Just hold your ground and stand firm !

Most of the actual war heroes of both 1971 and 1965 were sidelined, passed over in promotion and retired early.

If we disregard the Qadiani Lobby angle, most of the details in the article is accurate and matches what the conclusions of Many people from within Pakistan Army who have studied 1965 tactically. Peole like Major AH amin, and Brig Shaukat Qadir etc.

Army acedemics mostly acknowledge 1965 Paksitan had Military and tactical advantage over India was let down by incompetent visionless Generals. Barely escaped a total defeat for a war we initaited.

People here grew up listening to askari naghmey on PTV and reading about story tales of 1965 (yet barely NO mention of 1971) as kids.

None of them know of Operation Gibraltar and Operation Grandslam because those Pak Army incursions into Kashmir in summer 1965 FORCED India to take the war to international borders on 6 Sept 1965.

Pak Army thought they could liberate Kashmir, first by sending paratroopers and instigating the local people against India. They failed and Kashmiris in fact alerted Indian authorities of Pak soldiers in their areas.

Then Pak Army launched coordinated attacks across LoC to cut off Kashmir from rest of India. They ALMOST succeeded only for some stupid decisions by Ayub and Yahya that delayed Pak Army's final push and gave India time to regroup and formally declare war on Pakistan on 6 Sept.

The adventure that was supposed to "liberate Kashmir" ended up becoming a war that could have seen Indian capture of Lahore and push back Pak forces from Kashmir!

So did Pakistan win 1965? Nope! All it did was screw it up and embarrass itself and create a myth for our gullible awam to follow!

There is NO glory in 1965. Sorry to say.

Both sides fought bravely, but the Pakistani generals in 1965 disappointed badly.
