PESHAWAR (APP): Selling mobile SIMs after activating those on different CNIC numbers unauthorizedly for a few extra pennies,the accused has been sentenced for six-year prison with a plenty of Rs 200,000. Additional Session Judge Kaleem Arshad on Friday awarded six-year imprisonment to the accused Noorul Haq who was arrested by Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) on charges of selling mobile SIMs after activating those on Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) numbers of different persons unauthorizedly.
An FIA official viewed that the decision of the court is a land mark in the history of cyber crimes in the country, adding that the punishment is a warning for other criminals who are engaged in such illegal act.

PESHAWAR: A Chinese firm has planned to establish an industrial park over 100 square kilometres in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, which would be exploited for different kinds of industries from China.
This was stated by Mr Michael, chief executive officer of St. Fulin Group of Companies, while talking to Dawn here on Saturday.
A delegation of the company is currently touring Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to study the business environment and investment potential in the province.
We are studying the prospects of setting up a Chinese friendship industrial park over a 100 square kilometres in the province.

The park would be exploited for different kinds of industries from China, including new energy, microelectronic, new material, textile chemicals, machinery manufacturing, optical fiber, agriculture and much more, he said.
He said that the Shengze government of Suzhou city of Jiangsu province had provided a 23-storey building for the Pakistan Business Centre (PBC), which would provide rent-free offices to registered Pakistani companies.
He said that PBC comprised an exhibition hall, handicrafts and furniture area, leather and textile goods, jewellery and other products from Pakistan.
He said that the centre would house 100 Pakistani enterprises.
Mr Michael said that his firm with the collaboration of Shengze government would provide free legal advice and, financial and tax advice to the Pakistani businessmen to facilitate trade between the two countries.
He said that St. Fulin would provide full range of services to Pakistani companies, including management, consulting, planning, promotion, finance, exhibition, electronic information, logistics and warehousing to promote import and export between the two countries.
He said that the delegation also held a meeting with Chief Minister Pervez Khattak in Islamabad last week and apprised him of the projects of PBC, Chinese friendship industrial park in KP to exploit trade and investment opportunities.
We are also encouraged by the response of KP chief minister and his team to boost investment opportunities in the province, he said.
He said that meetings with the officials of KPCCI, Board of Investment and other departments would prove fruitful in realising the potential of trade and investment between China and Pakistan.
