1. I am surprised that no one has posted any comments in this thread.
2. Every guest in this program is saying that the jihadi organisations are responsible for the sectarian violence in this region, and the government is not doing anything to stop them.

First to let you know i am from muzaffarabad and i know all the area and surroundings
now few basic points.
1-a These religious organizations were first to help people of kashmir when earth quake struck, does any one remember efforts of lashkar , jamaat , etc. Even UNDP people acknowledged their efforts.
1- People of azad kashmir were happy when they were recieving money from govt of pakistan , now when pak has got minimum money to give , few people like this pro-indian lawyer come up to black mail govt and ppl of pakistan.
2- While there was fighting going on in indian kashmir , and people from all over kashmir were joining them , it was ok for every one in kashmir ....whats gone wrong now .....my answer is ......we kashmiris have lost our love for our brothers and our leaders of azad kashmir do not want to get indian part of kashmir because in that case leaders of azad kashmir will loose their votes and government . our people and govt is not loyal to cause.
3- Pakistan army and people of pakistan have helped all kashmiris , go and visit , BAGH, AATH MUKAM , JHOORA , PATIKA , BEHRI , KUNDAL SHAI , GHARI DUPATTA , AND EVEN MUZAFFARABAD...
90 % of the houses are new in those areas and are cemented houses while earlier on we had mud / clay houses.
4- People of kashmir have got special quota in universities and government jobs. it means if a pakistani boy scores 900 marks to get admission in a university , a kashmir boy can have same seat for scoring 700 marks. and still they are considered for open merit.
5- He mentioned tents , well i was there after earth quake , in muzaffarabad we could see tons of spare clothes thrown away by people as they did not wanted them, water bottles were used for toilet washing , and people are still getting shelter houses which consist of two bed room, one toilet and one kitchen
People have used these shelter houses to extend their own houses.
6- Most of the road are rebuilt and few could not be rebuilt because of continous land sliding .
7- Forest department of kashmir has sold almost 60 % of jungle, and govt of pakistan gets no money from it.
8-Gilgit and laddkah was only part of kashmir during dogra raaj, it never was part of kashmir before and after that.
9- 99.99% kashmiris love pakistan and consider them self pakistani , we carry pakistani id card , passports , currency and every thing.
10- Pakistan army has employed thousands of kashmiri youngsters as in mujahid batallion across LOC.

Brother sarbakaf has posted a very elaborate post - I wanted to do this but then I realised that my opinion will be biased useless as I do not consider Azad Kashmir to be seperate from Pakistan and I am not from that part of Pakistan as well, but contra if you have any shame you will come back and reply after hearing it from horse's mouth. I grew up in Islamabad and had numerous Kashmiri friends who are extremely well settled either in Pakistan or abroad and we never considered them as anything other than Pakistanis and vice versa. I think it will take more that cheap videos from a two bob news channel to illude people.

HOW WE CAN SAY KASHMIR IS INDEPENDENT ITS NOT YET
1. Since 1947 the people of Jammu & Kashmir raised slogans (KASHMIR BANEY GA PAKISTAN) and considered themselves as integral part of Pakistan, but govt of Pakistan neither undertaken development projects inside the area called as AZAD KASHMIR nor geared up of the Kashmir issue at international level.
2. The govt formed in territory is under cover of ISI and has no power as well as resources for development of area. They meet their own expenses out of the budget allotment from Islamabad. Being notorious agents of the agencies the rulers of azad kashmir not tired from singing songs for Islamabad.
3. The Federal & azad kashmir govts widely misappropriated funds and other material which was provided by the international community for earthquake affectees. After lapse of 5 years people are still living in tents.
4. Only by the issuance of Passports, identity cards and other documents, we cannot become the grade one citizen of Pakistan till the time we provided with our legitimate rights, in this modern era their is no facilities like health, education and general administration like water supply and communication infrastructure in rural areas of the region where people still living in 17th century. Our women still bringing water springs situated away from their houses.
5. Kashmiris gave sacrifices for Pakistan, u can see in the shape of Mangle Dam which was constructed upon a complete city of the state, then why govt of Pakistan not paid royality of the dam to Mzd govt.
6. Although loadshedding is a main problem of the present corrupt govt of Pakistan, but it is no mean that the whole defficiency recovered of ur area to utilize our electricity and we remain without electricity for more than 20 hours out of 24. The main source of electricity production is Mangla Power House. Its our right of kashmiris to utilize their resource first and if over and above then used by others. If problem remain unresolved situation like Balochistan can be repeated in Kashmir in future.
7. We are not against govt or people of Pakistan, but we are crying for our legitimate rights, and keeping in view the role of notorious sardars of kashmir and govt of Pakistan, our young generation is of the view that we should start our struggle for INDEPENDENT KASHMIR.
8. To save the territory from sectarianism and suicide bombing, govt of Pakistan should neutralize her resources immediately, so the peace and harmony of the area could be maintained as in past.
