No muslim can think of blasphemy against our own prophet (pbuh). But why are we mixing two different things. He had an opinion about a law made by humans. There can be difference of opinion about if it should be changed or not. It does not in any mean be a blasphemy in any way. For heaven sake cant we see what these jahil mullah are trying to do. They will try that all the muslims close there minds and think as they think. They are jahil and they just like jahil awam.

One point nobody mentioned.
He may have been killed for a totally different reason. Nobody knows yet. Could it be that foreign agents killed him so it could be pinned upon Zardari? could it be that he had some family feud, could it be that drug dealing problem and the mafia man paid this Qadri fellow to kill him.
And could it also be that Allah wanted a gustakh-e-rasul ko saza dya ho Qadru ket hanthon. wallah-o-aalam bissawab

There is no room for the Kala Qanoon known as Blasphemy Law in Islam (i.e the Noble Quran or Sunnah). This is a shameful act. This sick minded wild beast named Malik Mumtaz shed Khoon-e-Nahaq by killing Salman Taseer. I feel ashamed to say that we are the ummat of Rehmatul-lil-Alameen (PBUH and His Holy Progeny) and we have resorted to such henious acts of violence against our fellow Muslim brothers and sisters and fellow human beings. Its unbelievable that on one hand we claim to be the followers of the most tolerant personality known to mankind and on the other hand we are the most intolerant human beings on this planet. Shame on us!!!!!! I still cant believe that there are people on this forum and in our country who are supporting this wild beast who was smiling as if he had saved the life of a million human beings.Shame on these molvis. They have destroyed our beloved country. They are the source of discord in the country. All these sick molvis should be hanged in broad daylight.

I am sad today for I see one hadith negating another. I see people applauding a murderer. Some even calling him their hero. I see powerful mullas refusing to perform salat-ul-janaza for a Muslim. Is this not the religion where there is no compulsion on anyone? On the Day of Judgment we will all be answerable for our own deeds. Is our Merciful Lord unjust (nauzbillah)? Has He not made laws that everyone is to live by? We are not to take anyone life. There are courts and not there is the court of Allah swt where everyone has to stand and answer him. Blasphemy Law is a black law. Any law that allows people to abuse it is a black law. The half literate Mullah has abused this law over and over again. Do anyone of you ever think the your Prophet (PBUH) will stand for a murderer and the Just & Merciful Allah will forgive a cold blooded murderer no matter for whatever reason you took a life without fair trial? I am surprised as to why have we given our Mullah so much power that they would refuse to perform a salat-ul-janaza. Take that power away from them but this is what happens when a grown Muslim (one of our so-called leader) cannot even recite surah Ikhlas ! Our Prime Minister , the pir, was there . Why could he not have performed a simple salat? Every Muslim should know how to perform these rituals. But alas, one thing that Allah SWT has given all of us is knowledge… that too we have abandoned for corruption. Remember my brothers and sisters the writing is on the wall. Take steps quickly to redeem yourselves or soon Allah SWT will replace you with better and obedient servants and that is his promise.

Your post is just as much pathetic as you are, Not very humble I must say.
Sub consciously you are attempting to tell people that Islam is a bad thing and since one person doesnt follow Islam other shouldnt also.
If one follows your post, he will be left only a Muslim with just 5 times prayers and nothing else.
I am the first one to reiterate that there has to be a law and process by which a true blasephmer should be punished. I have long maintained my similar view for Mohammad Yusuf " KAZZAB", that regardless whether he was a kazib or not, he did not deserve to be murdered.
Its not the blasphemy laws that should be done away with its the legal process that stinks, lack of people awareness that a person should be tried in court if he or she commits blasphemy. And of course lack of police system. Police exists but the system does not.
If you think this is a 'black law' and it should be repealed because some idiot took the law in hand then I suggest you tell the US govt and all States govts to abolish child support, welfare, medicare etc because these programs are being abused.
Please get this in your tiny pea size head, the blasphemy law itself does not allow what has happened here. The so called 'illiterate' mullahs, are within their rights to issue fatwa based on the Quran and Sunnah and based on their own judgment. Our illiterate mullahs are 100 times better than your Bishops and Reverends who are quiet on pornography in media and promote gay and lesbians as church pastors and Bishops.
I could go all night but no time. Hopefully Taseer's murder will be fully investigated and Qadri and any body who might be behind it is brought to court.
