In 1969 I also went thru ISSB in Dacca. Only two Urdu speakers, me and Pervez (not the ghaddar one). Out of 20 candidates only HE was qualified. Bengalis took offense very rightfully so. I witness some of them were actually very qualified. But any way

one of the test was to walk on rope between two palm trees with sand underneath for unfortunate falls. very swiftly and professionally I rode up the tree and walked half way thru on the rope. Suddenly I decided to look down.

oooops my whole body was numb resulting loss of grip on the rope. arrrrrr dharaaam down on the sand [hilar]

I was rejected because it was revealed that I was AFRAID OF HEIGHTS, therefore I could not be a fighter pilot, my dream.

Allah has something else in the works. I was supposed to annoy Indian on siasat hence I failed:lol:
