I worked with a lot of young urdu speaking people from Karachi whose parents called themselves Muhajirs and they are of the opinion that the MQM has moved a million miles away from the ideology it was created under and has now emerged as a Ghunda/Ghaddar party, more importantly they now consider themselves as Pakistanis and not Muhajirs like their forefathers and extremely open minded about who they support politically. If MQM is to continue to be popular it will have to change its anti-Pakistani stance, which is frankly now obsolete, and inject new thinking into the direction it will go in the future. Otherwise they will continue to play cheap tricks against parties like PTI and they will slowly but surely take over all their votes because you can not continue with this ideology of hate for long as you and your children and their children are now Pakistanis and have to adapt to this country whether you like it or not, as we do not want to throw you out unless you want to throw yourselves out!!!
