We could not have saved him even if he did die for Pakistan. His best bet would have been to relocate had he been wise enough to do so. Being pro-Pakistani living in Bangladesh was not exactly the wisest thing to do after 1971. From my experience these Jamaat type mullah's are no angels either, behind closed doors they do everything.

[h=5]Indeed very sad news, I could never understand political difference can be the reason for killing some one, when State is involved in such heinous crime, it always has very devastating result.

May Allah accept his sacrifice and forgive any and all of his sins and grant him highest place in Jannah

Oh! acha .... what about 1947?

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) was founded by socio-political philosopher Abul Ala Maudoodi on August 26, 1941. He opposed capitalism, socialism and secularism but advocated democracy as an integral part of Islamic political ideals. He had close ties with Muslim Brotherhood leader Qutb. Although Maudoodi rendered great service for the cause of Islam, he was among the staunch opponents of idea of Pakistan. The idea collided with his concept of a universal Islamic empire with sovereignty resting in God. Those who sided with Indian Congress and opposed call of Pakistan were Abul Kalam Azad, Deobandi leaders of Jamiat Ulema –e-Hind including Jamiat-ul-Islam (JUI), Khaksars and Khudai Khidmatgars (Red Shirts).

JI became an ally of Gen Yahya Khan regime and its militant wing Islami Jamiat-e-Tulaba took part in the civil war against the Mukti Bahinis in former East Pakistan by forming Al-Shams and Al-Badr militias.

So its clear, JI killed Bangladeshi citizen on Pak Army instruction. Agree?

Why should now Bangladesh NOT Should Seek Justice at the International Criminal Court against Pakistan. If this happens, you know very the out come of this case would be.

Read history of JI in Bangladesh specially during conflict of 1971.
You will find answers

They are more then welcome to seek justice but are you forgetting the massacre in dhaka stadium in weeks and months following the war ,that will also be opened are you also forgetting the atrocities done by mukti bahni ....hope you rae not

Secondly , JI did not kill on instructions of Pak army , JI did what any patriot will do i.e to defend country and casualties are part of it.

Do not look at history as you like it read it as it is
