Question to all - What is Difference between Muslim and moderate Muslim?

There is no difference between a muslim and a moderate muslim. Every muslim is supposed to me a moderate. One of the main reasons which seperates and glorifies Islam from other religions is infact "moderation" itself. It teaches you to keep balance in your life. And that balance is moderation.
Unfortunately, we have mixed up the concepts. We have one group of people who are on the extreme right and they call their ways to be the actual ways of Islam ( we are MUSLIMS). And the other group of people prone to extreme left and they call their ways to be the moderate ways of Islam( we are MODERATE MUSLIMS). People belong to both of these groups are extremists.

meri university life mein kuch qadiyanion se tasal chalti thi. aik bar mein ne aik ki duum pe paon rakha to wo aur to kuch na keh saka lekin itna kaha ous ne. "hunh! you moderate muslims". This happened with me about 6 years ago but to this day i couldn't figure out why he said this.

Keeping balance (میانہ روی) and being Moderate are two different things.
Keeping balance mean i.e. while spending do not over spend or under spend, Haqooq Allah do not disturb Haqooq ul Ebad or Vice-versa.
Being Moderate means compromising on Islam to get closer to West. Thats why in most case West and Moderate Muslims will at one side and Muslims ofthen called Fundamentalist will be other side.

Correct brother and what west wants from us is take out quran from ur daily life just keep ur God restricted to musjid,live ur life accordingd to thr wishes.

Keeping balance, moderation , Mianarawi are supposed to give one concept. We have mixed up the whole concept so much that we have started taking different meanings out of it.
You said that West and moderate muslims are one and fundamentalists are the other group. Well, I have already called both of them extremists. None of them are the true moderates which every muslim is supposed to be. A muslim is a moderate and a moderate is not a western or a fundamentalist.
One has to understand that why someone is standing by west in any aspect of his life or WHY and HOW someone is a fundamentalist. You just can't label someone a western or a fundamentalist just becasue of his approach to one or some concepts of his life.
If i stick to the thought that my kids have the right to get best moderen education that shold not make me a western by any means. If I stick to the thought that my kids should pray 5 times a day that shuldn't either make me a fundamentalist. Now if someone thinks that giving best edu to my kids makes me a western or praying 5 times a day makes me a fundamentalist, that is entirely his wrong thinking. In any case, I am not doing doing anything wrong. I am just trying to be a Muslim, I am just trying to be a moderate.

Sorry your question should have been different. Muslim is a very general term and moderate Muslim is a more specific term. It is like saying what is the difference between Sunni and Muslim? The better question could have been difference between Sunni and Shia.
I am proud to consider myself as moderate Muslim :alhamd:. The other types of Muslims are liberal Muslims, cultural Muslims and extremist Muslims. I have problems with all of these. A moderate Muslim is tolerant, understands and practices Islam, puts emphasis on both wordly and islamic education, stays away from sectarianism, uses common sense, stays away from bidah, doesnt follow a certain alim or school of thought blindly, and takes Islam as a way of life not simply as a religion of prayers and rhetorics.

Acceptance of Moderate Muslims in West and by Qadiyanies proves their reality.
