PTI Karachi Leadership Sucks. They have developed so much differences and grouping among themselves that they actually want to defeat each other, even at the price of failure of party. This man was definitely an MQM mole in PTI who ditched the party at right time and we don't know how many moles are there in PTI karachi . If he had grievances with party, he could share it with IK or could simply withdraw instead of withdrawing in favour of MQM. This was planned assault against PTI.
A friend of mine who was PTI Khi position holder before the bodies were dissolved told me recently that MQM is urging its workers to register themselves as PTI workers for Intra-Party elections so they can get their ''own moles'' elected. :)He said PTI is going to commit a deadly mistake by conducting IPE, especially in Karachi. He came all the way to Islamabad to meet IK to convince him not to do so, but Khan kis ki sunta hai, siwaey Tareen k . Now this development has proved him right.
membership should be paid no matter how small the fee but it will reduce fraud members. same thing will happen in kpk where anp members will vote for nazaryatis to fail pti popularity in KPK. btw even in uk and usa there every party has a membership fee. in return each member gets voting rights.
anyway, the problem with PTI karachi is that the 3 good friends of IK all want their share of limelight and fame. They have zero interest in promoting PTI even within their own constituency. You will see them in action only during elections or IK visit.
arif alvi group - he is founding member of PTI and his only interest is in securing NA 250 and general secretary position. His group also controls the social media wing if PTI. I also feel he has connections with mqm behind the scenes.
imran ismail - he is also a very loyal friend of IK but he has not interest in defeating MQM. In fact he and faisal vadwa have close ties with MQM.
ali zaidi - he is an old member of PTI and helped establish many PTI chapters abroad. He seems to have the right vision but the other 2 guys are scheming against him. Plus he is not as rich and powerful as the other 2 so it was always going to be a struggle.
IF imran khan is serious about politics then he should fire all trouble makers. Instead he likes to keep everyone happy which causes further division. in particular for sindh, PTI needs a separate head for urban and rural sindh. Due to string ethnic politics in sindh, no sindhi will vote a mohajir and vice versa. Therefore, president sindh and president karachi should be separate.
Non mohajir votebank in karachi. Many people think that karachi is dominated by mohajir when the fact is that at least 50% of the registered voters in the city are non mohajirs i.e. sindhis, punabis, baloch and pathans. These communities live in pathetic conditions because KDA, KESC, water board and all other city govt departments are dominated by MQM and PPP. As you know PPP is not interested in doing work and MQM only works for mohajirs.
If PTI concentrates on karachi west, east and south, it will get far better results than if it keeps focusing on north and central karachi.
