I think 50% seats from punjab will be enough. PTI will win at least 30 from KP, 5 from FATA and 15 from Sindh, Islamabad and Balochistan. This gives them a headstart of 50 NA seats requiring them to win only 70 NA seats from punjab to reach 120 NA seats. After that independents will join them to make the total 137/272 and giving PTI a simple majority in the lower house.

Elections are still 27 days away and in Pakistani politics 1 week is more than enough so cant say anything with certainity.

PTI however is in a much much better posistion as compared to 2013. They only have to do a rigrous compaign and manage polling day which given that so many electables are in PTI now can easily handle.

In my view, right now, PTI is in a position to win 60-65 seats from Punjab. PMLN also around 60-65 seats and the rest will be won by indepedants. May be 3 will be won by PPP if they are really lucky. However, for PTI to make a government, it clearly is not enough.

If they have to have any chance of making government in Punjab & center, they must be winning around 80 seats on their own. Then with independants & allies all throughout the country, I think they can manage 130-135 in total.

As per your calculation 18 seats will go to independents may i know which 18??? As of now i think of only 1 seat that can go that way

I gave you a rough figure, not exact. I said 60-65 seats for both.

Reagrding indepednants, ther are many. Bosan, Masood Rabera, Hunjra, Jamshed Dasti etc. They all will win their seats.

Tareen said they are expecting 80 seats from Punjab, Sarwar said 70 +.Then, PTI reserve seat list shows that they are expecting 79 seats while pml-n 110.

Haha its over blown figure.

PTI must work very hard to achieve this kind of figure. Hope they can overcome internal rift between them and work as a team to achieve Power.

But, without this number (80) of seats in Punjab, IK won't be able to muster simple majority in Lower House to form Government.

30 From KPK
10 From FATA (5 they will win others will join as independents)
3 From Islamabad
6 From Rawalpindi
2 From Chakwal
1 From Jehlum
10 From Sindh (5PTI , 5 GDA)
3 From Balochistan
Remaining Punjab only require 65 seats
