PTCL declared "Best Telecom Landline Operator in South Asia

Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited (PTCL) has won the international SAMENA Award 2011 for being the Best Telecom Landline Operator in South Asia, said a statement issued by the organizer.CEO & President PTCL, Mr. Walid Irshaid accepted this acclaimed honor on behalf of his company at the annual SAMENA Convergence to Doha summit held in Doha.


PTCL has been quickest to offer new products and services, and is a provider of Triple-Play, Quad-Play, 3G and advanced Value-Added Service (VAS), read SAMENAs official citation for the Award. PTCLs Broadband and IPTV have the most advanced VAS for fixed line telco as per global trends. With its offering of both services, PTCLs profile as a service providing operator in the region of South Asia is very rich.

We must be proud of these ,it wil be unfair if we don,t give credit to Shaukat Aziz who did wonderfull job in telecommunication sector.If any one did good things honestly we must give due respect at least,rather going stereo type stupid slogans yar woh tu brief case lay ke bhag gia.
