Protein supplements are no longer just for gym-crazed beefcakes. Health conscious people are taking more protein supplements than ever. But are they any good for your health?In the UK, sales of protein powders grew from 73million in 2007 to 170million in 2012 and could hit 358million by 2017. Protein supplements and snacks have become so popular in the past 12 months that, in March, the Office for National Statistics included protein in the goods used to calculate inflation.Everybody needs protein in their diet and it is essential to body tissues, aiding growth and contributing to muscle mass and bone health. But experts say taking too much could put too much pressure on the kidneys.

KIDNEY DAMAGE — Cutting down on carbs and eating more protein can cause problems. It is not proven that Baking Soda cures cancer but certainly it helps

Small doses of Baking Soda and a tolerable amount of Cabbage juice and diet composed of leafy green vegetables and consumption of Fruits vegetables and plant base protein diet helps controlling cancer and living a life without treatment ... provided cancer has not reached its last stages

Hence a change in diet helps living without cancer treatment .... even if it fails to treat it but certainly it controls cancer

Protein shakes are good if you are doing body building for aesthetic purpose and taking them regularly, especially for people who have a hard time gaining muscle. Although it is not necessary for everyone. I have a hard time keeping my muscle mass, but over the years I can feel my body rejects protein shakes and it used to feel like i am drinking something unnatural and poisonous. For a year I stopped taking proteins but kept gyming and lost alot of muscle mass. For now I am going to wholefoods or going online and looking for the most natural and organic proteins on the market, they are expensive and do not have as much grams of proteins as common protein shakes, but it tastes very good and my body accepts it as a natural food and its helped my body alot as well. This was just my experience with proteins. Ofcourse I tried many brands when I was trying out common proteins some of them were called hard gainers and they have a **** load of sugar and carbs and can really jack up your insulin level, especially pre work outs can totally kill your form in the gym in a few weeks of consumption. Staying healthy is the best option.
