Did any court in Pakistan have convicted MQM leaders as a Bhatta khor, Target Killers, Band Bori etc?

All allegations are baseless until supreme court takes any decision. Until today, MQM is continuously growing under the leadership of Altaf Hussain and it is not anymore a Karachi base party. MQM is fully functional in all over Pakistan

Time is not far when it is going to happen in pakistan also. Canadian court had already declared MQM a terrorist organisation.

Admit your mistakes to play a responsible part in Pakistan's politics.

Discussion is about halqa Bandi but patriots of MQM come with stuff we had discussed many many times on this forum. Parties with such background like MQM are banned in Europe and never allowed to take part in elections. MQM followers would love one if you admit that it(MQM) is a peacefull party, weapons are not their culture, Altaf Hussain is on medical treatment in london, His british passport is faked, all parlimenterians (mqm) have brilliant past record, Ishratulibad murder cases were faked, they winn election because people in karachi and hyderabad love them, All MQM target killers caught in karachi was made Drama, 12 may was ANP alone and mqm people were just controlling trafic.

Canada's court declares you a terrorist. Shame to you all. Be mature and start learn from your mistakes.

It is you who brought me so far to remind you again the true face of your party.

Bhai we are talking about voting rights for overseas Pakistanis and you want Pakistanis in Pakistan who live in a area for certain time to be eligible to vote, that going backward than forward.

Debate is not about future migration and how we should control or at least streamline flow of rural population to urban areas. It is about people are already in these areas and should they be eligible to vote or not.

It is very strange to see MQM moaning about PPP's behavior, did not know, morons seldom change and zardari is more than a moron, he will not spare a moment to ditch you for a better option. He did it with everyone, just Q league left now, why should you be an exception and not be his prey, specially on this very weak ground...

Kindly follow the upcoming episode...

MQM works hard to remember its roots and love for motherland. Honourable Bob Delaney, Member of Provincial Parliament, Ontario, Canada
“MQM works hard to remember its roots and love for motherland” these were the words which honorable Bob Delaney, Member of Provincial Parliament, Ontario, Canada delivered in his address to a well crowded Pakistan Day gathering attended by South Asian communities in Toronto Canada. He further appreciated MQM leader Altaf Hussain on his firm, fair and fruitful leadership which produced numerous success models in Pakistan such as Syed Mustafa Kamal, a former mayor of Karachi who was elected amongst three best mayors of the world. After the speech, he mingled in the audience and exchanged views on how Pakistanis and other South Asians are benefiting Canada in its economic growth and what else can they do in its further increase.

The tremendous Pakistan Day Celebrations program was organized by MQM Canada Toronto and Montreal chapters on April 22nd and 23rd, 2011 simultaneously. A large number of Canadian political figures, local dignitaries and delegations of social and welfare organizations exclusively attended the festivity. At the end his address, honourable Bob Delaney presented a certificate of appreciation to MQM Canada in recognition to its contribution and services in integration of South Asian communities in Canadian custom.

CANADA COURT DECLARES MQM A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

CANADA COURT DECLARES MQM A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

Judge Orders Deportation of Pakistani Party Chief
By Stewart Bell
Canada, 18 July 2007 (National Post): The head of the Quebec branch of a Pakistani political party is facing deportation after the Federal Court of Canada ruled he belonged to an organization [Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) led by London, UK-based Criminal Terrorist Altaf Hussain] that committed terrorism.
The judge upheld the deportation of Mohammed Kashif Omer, a resident of Montreal, on the grounds he is a member of the Muttahida Quami Movement or MQM. [The MQM terrorist party is based in Karachi, Pakistan. MQM is a crime partner of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q), another terrorist party based in Pakistan. Criminal Terrorist Shaukat Aziz is the head of PML-Q. Criminal Terrorist Tyrant Pervez Musharraf, a mass murderer of thousands of innocent citizens of Pakistan and Afghanistan, is the President of both the MQM Mafia and the PML-Q Mafia].
It is the second time this year Canadian courts have ruled the MQM party meets the legal definition of a terrorist organization.
Mr. Omer is one of dozens of Pakistanis whom Canadian immigration authorities are trying to deport because of their involvement in the MQM.
Despite being blamed for the kidnapping, torture and murder of its political rivals in Pakistan, the MQM has opened a Canadian branch called MQM-Canada.
Members of the group have worked on Conservative election campaigns, met [Canadian] Prime Minister Stephen Harper and recently hosted a [MQM] conference in Calgary [Canada].
Conservative MP Art Hanger spoke at the June 8-10 MQM-Canada convention, which was attended by several Pakistanis who are being deported for their alleged involvement in terrorism. Mr. Hanger said he did not support the [MQM] group. Conservative MLA Shiraz Shariff also attended. He said yesterday he was unaware Canadian courts had deemed the MQM a terrorist organization. "Why are we as a nation then allowing them to have a congregation here?" he said.
Among the speakers at the convention was Mr. Omer, who presented a report on the "achievements and future strategy" of the Montreal office of MQM, according to the [MQM] group's Web Site.
Mr. Omer has no immigration status in Canada. A Canada Border Services Agency spokesman, Erik Paradis, said the court ruling means that the deportation order against Mr. Omer is now in effect.
The MQM is a Pakistani political party that is part of [unconstitutional, illegal, self-appointed] President Pervez Musharraf's ruling coalition. The Canadian MQM branch has never been accused of illegal activities but in Pakistan the party has been blamed for widespread violence, most recently in May [2007] when gunfights between the MQM and anti-government demonstrators left more than 40 dead.
MQM officials deny any role in attacks and say they are victims of misinformation spread by Pakistani authorities. Canada's Security Intelligence Review Committee has been looking into complaints from MQM members that immigration authorities have unfairly branded them as terrorists.
Mr. Omer came to Canada in 1998 and was granted refugee status but in 2005 immigration officials said he could not remain in Canada "because he knowingly and for a long period of time belonged to an organization that has engaged in terrorism."
In Pakistan, Mr. Omer had been a member of the MQM and its student wing from 1987 to 1998. He denied any involvement with the MQM in Canada but eventually acknowledged he was in charge of the MQM's Quebec office.
The Immigration and Refugee Board said: "Mr. Omer's reasons for trying to hide that, in Canada, he is responsible for the Montreal section of the MQM-Canada lead me to believe that he knew that his party was committing many violent acts."
He appealed the decision to the [Canada] Federal Court, arguing that the MQM is not a terrorist organization and that the violence was committed by rogue elements in the [MQM] party, but the court was not convinced.

CANADA COURT DECLARES MQM A TERRORIST ORGANIZATION

Judge Orders Deportation of Pakistani Party Chief
By Stewart Bell
Canada, 18 July 2007 (National Post):

The head of the Quebec branch.....

Almas Jiwani, President of the National Committee for UN Women-Canada Addressed the Pakistani Community at the 2011 Pakistan Day Celebrations Hosted by MQM-Canada

BRAMPTON, ONTARIO(Marketwire April 22, 2011) Ms. Almas Jiwani, President of the National Committee for UN Women Canada addressed an audience of over 400 individuals at the 2011 Pakistan Day festivities organized under the auspices of the MQM (Muttahida Qaumi Movement) and its annual community event.

This high profile event featured remarks and keynote addresses by local and foreign dignitaries followed by an exclusive performance by the renowned Pakistani singer Naeem Abbas Rufi.

The theme of the event was surrounded with the legacy of the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, MQM leader Altaf Hussain and his vision of equality and justice for the people of Pakistan and the constitution of Pakistan that was realized on March 23rd 1956.

Ms Almas Jiwani in her address said Investment in women and girls is the key to Pakistans future growth and productivity. Today we celebrate the Pakistan Resolution Day as a pinnacle moment in the creation of the country.

We reflect, we remember, and we look ahead. Today, let us make a personal commitment to ensuring that gender equality becomes a lived reality in Pakistan and worldwide. Let us celebrate Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnahs vision for creating an independent nation. Like the founders of the country, we too must be visionaries and we must work together to put Pakistan on the trajectory to become a strong, united, and peaceful country. There is only one way to accomplish this goal, and it rests in the investment in the countrys greatest untapped resource women.

Reflecting on the Pakistan Day celebrations, MQM Canada Central Organizer Mr. Iqbal Qamar stated MQM Canada and its leadership under Altaf Hussain, explicitly believes that empowerment of society occurs through empowerment of the underprivileged middle and lower classes. Thus, in order to achieve the solution to most of Pakistans problems, our approach emphasizes Realism and Practicalism. Womens empowerment is an important aspect of MQMs larger agenda. We fully believe that through cooperation with civil society partners like UN Women Canada, we will revitalize the global and local dialogue on gender equality and eradication of societal injustices.

On this Pakistan Day, we hope to bring new energy, draw on multiple talents, and bring together men and women from around the world for this endeavor to make gender equality and societal empowerment a lived reality and accelerate Pakistans economic, political and social progress.

The 2011 Pakistan Day event will be organized at Milan Banquet Hall and all the funds raised from tickets will be donated to alleviate the suffering and assist the flood victims of Pakistan.

ISLAMABAD: Top leaders of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, including its chief Altaf Hussain, Parliamentary Leader in the National Assembly Dr Farooq Sattar, Federal Minister Babar Ghauri, Sindh Minister Shoaib Bokhari and a number of former lawmakers, are among the beneficiaries of the National Reconciliation Ordinance, according to the list sent by the National Accountability Bureau to the government on Thursday.

According to the list, eight cases were registered against Altaf Hussain in Mirpurkhas, Zaman Town, Kalakot, Brigade, Quaidabad and Nazimabad police stations between 1986 and 1995.

One case was registered against Dr Farooq Sattar in 1992 in Korangi police station, while four in Quaidabad, Aziz Bhatti, Landhi and Korangi police stations in 1994.

Six cases were registered against Shoaib Bokhari in Nazimabad, Orangi Town, Korangi, Mominabad and Zaman Town police stations.

Five cases were registered against MNA Waseem Akhtar in Korangi, Quaidabad, Zaman Town and Aziz Bhatti police stations.

The list included the names of Karachi’s deputy Nazim, Nasrin Jalil, former adviser to the Sindh chief minister S. Manzoor Hussain, former senator Ishtiaq Azhar, former convener of the MQM Rabita Committee Dr Imran Farooq and two members of the committee Saleem Shahzad and Tariq Javed.

A former provincial minister, Qazi Khalid, who was appointed judge of the Sindh High Court on the recommendation of former chief justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, is also among the beneficiaries of NRO, according to the bureau.

Former members of the Sindh Assembly Azhar Mian, Irshad Baig, Jawed Akhtar, Dr Sagheer Ahmed, M. Haroon Siddiqui, S. M. Mohiuddin, Abdul Qadir Lakhani, Mirza Afzal Baig, Suhail Saleem Mashahdi and Kamran Jaffery also benefited from the NRO, the list said.
Ajmal Dehlvi is also on the list of beneficiaries. The names of certain people, including Ishtiaq Azhar and Khalid Murtaza, appeared on the list more than once.

Khalid Murtaza was a leading trade unionist of the Pakistan Steel Mills. He was paralysed in alleged firing by Rangers in early 90s and is currently working in MQM’s Khidmat-i-Khalq Foundation.

The names of former MNA Shaikh Liaquat Hussain, who passed away recently, former MPA Afzal Anwar, who expired some 4-5 years ago, and former MNA and member of the Rabita Committee Hassan Musanna Alvi, who died last year, are also on the list.

Other NRO beneficiaries belonging to the MQM are former president of the Karachi Bar Association, Amin Lakhani, and Liaquatabad town nazim Usama Qadri, the NAB said.

Rabita Committee member Kanwar Khalid Younus told Dawn that almost all cases against leaders and workers of the MQM were criminal in nature. He said it was easy to book one in a criminal case and FIRs were registered in one go.

He said there were no cases of financial irregularity against the MQM leadership as one had to substantiate the charges with evidence.

He said 94 criminal cases were registered against him and he contested all of them and got himself cleared.

He said his party would fight any cases brought against its leaders by the government.

Altaf Hussain is Pakistan's top most terrorist, says Imran Khan

Lahore, May 29 : Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan has decribed the chief of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM), Altaf Hussain, as Pakistan's top most terrorist.

Addressing a seminar at the Hameed Nizami Hall here, Imran said his claim was based on reports of the country's intelligence agencies.

Responding to the threats that he had received from the MQM, Imran said that he would not back down and would react effectively against "fascists".

He blamed the MQM for giving a free hand to their miscreants in 1999 to kill the police officers involved in conducting legal operation against the political outfit on the instructions of General Naseer Ullah Baber in the past.
