It is a matter of great concern that many officers are serving in District Sialkot for the last many years. Previously one Aamar Ijaz Akbar who was initially appointed and posted as a Magistrate in Sialkot, he remained in District Sialkot almost for about 22/23 years and when he was promoted to the post of Executive District Officer Revenue, he remained in Sialkot when was transferred to some other District. Even he got married in District Sialkot. Now Mr.Pervaiz Iqbal Butt District Officer Revenue Sialkot is prevailing in Sialkot. According to history, he was posted as a Special Judicial Magistrate in District Sialkot probably about 11/12 years back. Then he managed his posting as a Deputy Director Anti Corruption, Sialkot. Then he managed some other post in District Sialkot. Then he got his posting as Deputy District Officer Revenue, Pasrur District Sialkot where there were so many strikes but he was then promoted and posted as Distris ict Officer Revenue, Sialkot. Now it is the talk of the town that his transfer and posting is at the wish and whim of Kh.Muhammad Asif MNA, who is close to Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif. Very funny and fantastic that this man is making decisions of his own decisions but the facts and reality is that no man should be a judge in his own cause. Almost all the decisions are being made at the wish and whims of Politicians especially on the asking of Kh.Asif or his partymen.
So it can be safely inferred that such like Officers have created their monoply. Moreover, according to government rules and policy of transfer and posting no officer should be posted in such like offices in one District for more than three years. Such like officers like Pervaiz Butt who is not having good name in Sialkot are slur and should be transferred to other Districts also. I may also request to the Chief Minister Punjab to immediately transfer Mr.Pervaiz Butt from District Sialkot.
